Özet
6. ÖZET Bu çalışmada İstanbul ilinde İT i eczanelerden, 4' ü marketlerden ve 81' i pet shoplardan toplanan 96 adet kedi ve köpeklerde vücût temizliği amacıyla kullanılan şampuan örneklerinde, S. aureus ve diğer Staphylococcus spp.' ler bakteriyolojik olarak incelendi. Ayrıca ELISA yöntemiyle stafilokokkal enterotoksinlerin varlığı araştırıldı. S. aureus izole edilmedi ancak S. saprophytics, S. hominis, S. lugdunensis, S. auhcularis, S. xylosus ve S. lentus olmak üzere 6 (% 6.25) koagulaz negatif Staphylococcus spp. izole edildi. ELISA ile stafilokkal enterotoksinin saptanması amacıyla“TECRA Staphylococcal Enterotoxin Visual Immunoassay (VIA)”kullanıldı. 96 şampuan örneğinden yapılan ELISA sonucunda 8 (% 8.33) şampuan örneğinde stafilokokkal enterotoksin saptandı. Sonuçlar insan ve hayvan sağlığı yönünden şampuan gibi kozmetiklerde bakteriyolojik kültürün yanısıra diğer mikrobiyolojik yöntemlerin de uygulanması gerektiğini gösterdi. 46

7. SUMMARY In this study, the presence of S. aureus and other Staphylococcus spp. were investigated bacteriologically in 96 cats and dogs body cleaning shampoos in which 11, 4 and 81 were obtained from pharmacies, shopping markets and pet shops, respectively. In addition, presence of staphylococcal enterotoxins were investigated by ELISA. Although S. aureus was isolated in none of the samples, 6 (6.25 %) various species of coagulase negative Staphylococcus (5. saprophyticus, S. lugdunensis, S. hominis, S. auricularis, S. xy/osus, S. lentus) were isolated.“TECRA Staphylococcal Enterotoxin Visual Immunoassay (VIA)”was used to detect staphylococcal enterotoxin. Staphylococcal enterotoxins were dedected in 8 (8.33 %) of 96 samples by ELISA. The results have shown that besides bacteriological culture the other microbiologic techniques should be applied in cosmetics such as shampoo in view of human and animal health. 47
