Özet (Çeviri)
Biomechanical models of the fingers are used to gain a greater understanding of their internal loading mechanism, which has applications ranging from clinicians treating their patients for pathologies to designing of ergonomic tools. These models need to accurately predict musculoskeletal behaviour from a range of information including body kinematics, external reaction forces and anthropometry. Although many techniques and models have been proposed regarding the kinematics and loading of the muscles both by inverse dynamics and forward dynamics approaches, the force-generating capacity of finger muscles in particular has not been studied. In this project, a biomechanical model of the hand that estimates force-generating capacity of flexor muscles of the index finger during a known posture of the index finger has been introduced. An experiment has been conducted to test the accuracy of and validate the suggested model, where subjects applied maximum force with predetermined postures of flexion movement on a force sensor, and the data from the experiment was ran by the model to test its theoretical output against the experimental data. The experimental data has been compared against the model output and the shortcomings, limitations and possible underlying causes of variations in data have been discussed.
