Özet
?Türkiye'de Ulus ? Devlet ve Ziya Gökalp ? Mümtaz Turhan ? Erol Güngör? başlıklı çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır.Giriş bölümünde konuya ilişkin yapılmış akademik incelemelere değinilmiş ve çalışmanın kapsam ve hedefi ortaya konmuştur.I.Bölümde ulus ? devlet olgusunun kavramsal ve tarihsel çerçevesi incelenmiştir. Feodaliteden mutlakiyetçi krallıklara, kral devletten ulus ? devlete geçiş süreci tarihsel perspektiften ele alınmıştır. Etnisite, ulus, ulus ? devlet kavramları açıklanmıştır. Olgunun politik görünümünü izah ettiği düşünülen İngiltere ve Fransa örneğine değinilmiştir.II. Bölümde Türkiye'de ulus ? devlet olgusunun gelişimi incelenmiştir. Osmanlı'da modernleşme ihtiyacının ortaya çıkışı, Sened ? i İttifak, Tanzimat Fermanı, Islahat Fermanı, I.Meşrutiyet, II. Meşrutiyet ve Cumhuriyet'e geçiş süreçleri ulus ? devlet bağlamında ele alınmıştır.III. Bölümde Ziya Gökalp'in görüşleri ulus ? devlet ekseninde incelenmiştir. Gökalp'in etnisite, ulus, ulus ? devlet kavramlarına, Türkiye'de yaşanan siyasal modernleşmeye, ulusal egemenlikten pay alan bireyin zihniyet dünyasını inşa etmek gayesini güden aydınlanma arayışlarına ve ekonomi politiğe bakışı ortaya konmuştur. 1923 sonrası, ulus ? devleti tahkim etmek gayesini güden inkılâplarla Gökalp'in ünsiyeti tartışılmıştır.IV. Bölümde, Mümtaz Turhan'ın görüşleri ulus ? devlet ekseninde incelenmiştir. III. Bölümde zikredilen başlıklar altında konu ele alınmıştır. Turhan'ı Gökalp'e bağlayan hususlara dikkat çekilmiştir.V.Bölümde Erol Güngör'ün görüşleri ulus ? devlet ekseninde incelenmiştir. III ve IV. Bölümde zikredilen başlıklar altında konu ele alınmıştır. Ziya Gökalp ? Mümtaz Turhan ? Erol Güngör geleneği tartışılarak çalışma sonuçlandırılmıştır.

The study titled ?Nation- State in Turkey and Ziya Gokalp ? Mumtaz Turhan-Erol Gungor? consists of five chapters.In the introduction part the academic researches conducted on the subject , are mentioned and the scopes and aims of the study are put forward.In the first chapter the conceptual and historical aspects of Nation ? State fact is analyzed. The transition period from feudalism to the autocratic kingdoms, from the Kingdom State to the Nation State is handled through the historical perspective. The concepts of ethnicity, nation, nation-state are explained. England and France ,which are considered to define the political appearance of the concept, are described.In the second chapter, the development of the Nation ?State plot is analyzed. The emergence of the need for modernization of the Ottoman, the processes of the ?Alliance Document?, ?Reforms? Decree?, ?Improvements? Decree?, ? The First Constitutional Government?, ? The Second Constitutional Government? and the transition to the Republic are all handled under the Nation State concept.In the third chapter, the opinions of Ziya Gokalp is analyzed in the nation ? state axis. Gokalp?s views of ethnicity, nation, nation ? state concept, the political modernization experienced in Turkey, his enlightenment researches aiming to build the individual?s thinking world receiving its portion from the national sovereignity and his view of the economy politics are all put forward. Gokalp?s familiarity with the reforms aming to strengthen the Nation- State after year 1923 is discussed.In the fourth chapter, Mumtaz Turhan?s opinions are analyzed in the nation ?state axis. The topic is handled under the same titles mentioned in the third chapter. The items connecting Turhan to Gokalp are dwelled on.In the fifth chapter, Erol Gungor?s opinions are analyzed in the Nation ? State axis. The topic is handled under the same titles mentioned in the third and the fourth chapters. The study is finalized after discussing the Ziya Gokalp - Mumtaz Turhan - Erol Gungor tradition.
