This study deals basically with the evidences of Islamic belief in the light of the nine books of Sunnah (Sahih Al Bukhari; Sahih Muslim; Sunan Attermzi, Abu-Dawud, Annasai, IbnMajah and Addaremi; Maalik's Muwatta and Ahmad's Mosnad) This study is divided into introduction, prelude, nine chapters and epilogue. The first chapter is dedicated to clarify the status of Sunnah and its role in Islamic belief. In the second chapter, I talk about the variance of theologians in the substance of faith, its increase and its decrease, and the relation between Islam and faith (Iman). The third chapter is about the evidences of God existence and cognition. But In the fourth I demonstrate the self-names and self-capacities, that are: knowledge, power, hearing, seeing, speaking and life. In the fifth chapter I discuss the issue of divine capacities, which is called the narrated capacities, and particularize their evidences and the different opinions of theologians about the affirmation or negation of these capacities. The sixth chapter is assigned to the case of seeing God in life and hereafter, while the seventh one is assigned to the case of predestination, and the eighth is assigned to the famous topics of prophethood and the ninth is assigned to the narrated matters of Islamic belief. Finally, the research is affixed with these significant results: - There is a great deference in ways of reasoning between theologians in different topics of Islamic belief. This deference is due to reasons related to the nature of the case, its importance, and to the way the theologian deals with the narrated and rational evidence. Thus, the cases of faith, Islam, narrated capacities and narrated beliefs are not similar to the cases of self-capacities, God existence and His singleness with respect to the using of the narrated evidence. - There are many weakly and rejected narrations in the theologians' books, which are used often in points of disagreement. ٙٔٓ - In respect to the self-capacities and God existence, the most prominent trend between theologians is to use the rational evidence. - There is an agreement between theologians that God is far above creatures likeness or any defect, and that He marked by all attributes of perfection. But they disagreed about some pseudo-defection attributes, so a party sustained them with no likeness and a party refused them. - All Sunni Moslems believe in seeing God in the hereafter, but that seeing is with no facing, ray emission or restriction in direction. - All narrations about the Quran creation or oldness are either defected or have no definite signification. - There is no contradiction between the fact that God is the creator and the fact that human has a free will. So that, having free will not mean that human creates his doing, but God creates what human choose with his free will. - The narrated beliefs, such as hereafter, paradise, hell and resurrection, are mostly dependent on hadith, and there is no rational objection on this.
