Özet

Bu tez çalışması ile alternatif gelecek senaryoları bağlamında kurgulanan konut mekânları ele alınmaktadır. Alternatif konut imgesi üzerinden tartışılan geleceğin konut mekânları, distopik bir gelecek ortamı ile iklim krizi merkezli değişen fiziksel çevre çerçevesinde değerlendirilmektedir. Çalışma kapsamında dünya ekosisteminin mevcut durumunun geçirmekte olduğu değişim ve dönüşümler ile birlikte konut mekânlarının dönüşüme uğrayan çerçeve ve mekanizması sorgulanmaktadır. Geleceğin ekosistemi ile bu ekosistemin bir bileşeni olarak yeni ve alternatif konut mekânlarına dair önerileri ve kavramsal çerçevelerin sunulması söz konusudur. Bu bağlamda gerçekleştirilen çalışmalarda sinemasal anlatının alternatif bir yöntem ve araç önerisi olarak denenmesi yoluyla sinema disiplininin tasarım süreçlerine olan katkıları tartışılmaktadır. Disiplinler arası bir yaklaşımla gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmalarda sinemasal anlatının bir temsil aracı olarak kullanılması ile analiz, tartışma ve üretim süreçlerini geliştiren bir yöntem denemesi gerçekleştirilmektedir. Alternatif konut imgesi üretimi süreçlerinde senaryo oluşturma, mekân atmosferi yaratma, kavramsal bağlamı sorgulama, çalışma çerçevesini oluşturma ve görsel anlatıyı geliştirme gibi kapsamlarda sinemasal anlatının gücünden faydalanılmaktadır. Söz konusu kavramsal bağlam ve disiplinler arası uygulamalar kapsamında alternatif konut imgesi ve gelecek senaryosu önerileri üzerindeki çalışmalar, farklı yorumları ve tartışmaları geniş bir yelpazede sunabilmek adına farklı katılımcı gruplarıyla yapılan alan çalışmalarıyla sunulmaktadır. Tasarımcı adayları ile gerçekleştirilen çalışmalar sayesinde çalışma kapsamında sunulan kavramsal bağlamın ve disiplinler arası yaklaşımların tasarım süreçlerinin erken dönemlerine entegre edilebilmesinin sağlanması hedeflenmektedir. Tüm bu bağlamda tez çalışması ile iklim krizi kaynaklı bir distopik çerçevede, alternatif gelecek senrayolarının oluşturulması ve bu bağlamda alternatif konut imgelerinin üretilmesi söz konusudur. Bu üretim süreçlerinde disiplinler arası yeni yöntem ve araç önerilerinin denenmesi yoluyla bu araç ve yöntemlerin tasarım süreçlerine katkısının tartışılması hedeflenmektedir. Gerçekleştirilen çalışma, çerçevesi, süreci ve sonuçlarıyla söz konusu alanlarda alternatif yaklaşım ve uygulamaların artırılmasını amaçlamaktadır.

In this thesis, housing spaces that are constructed in the context of alternative future scenarios are discussed. The housing spaces of the future, discussed through the image of alternative housing, are evaluated within the framework of a dystopian future environment and a changing physical environment centered on the climate crisis. Within the scope of the study, the changes and transformations that the current state of the world ecosystem is going through, as well as the transforming framework and mechanism of residential spaces are questioned. It is in question to present proposals and conceptual frameworks for the future ecosystem and new and alternative housing spaces as a component of this ecosystem. In the studies carried out in this context, the contributions of the cinema discipline to the design processes are discussed by testing the cinematic narrative as an alternative method and tool proposal. In these studies, which are carried out with an interdisciplinary approach, a method experiment is carried out that improves the analysis, discussion and production processes by using cinematic narrative as a representation tool. In alternative housing image production processes, the power of cinematic narrative is utilized in scopes such as creating scenario, space atmosphere, questioning the conceptual context, creating the working framework and developing the visual narrative. Within the context of the mentioned conceptual context and interdisciplinary practices, studies on alternative housing image and future scenario proposals are presented with field studies with different participant groups in order to present different interpretations and discussions in a wide range. Thanks to the studies carried out with the designer candidates, it is aimed to ensure that the conceptual context and interdisciplinary approaches presented within the scope of the study can be integrated into the early stages of the design processes. In this context, with the thesis work, alternative future scenarios are created in a dystopic framework originating from the climate crisis and alternative housing images are produced in this context. It is aimed to discuss the contribution of these tools and methods to the design processes by testing new interdisciplinary methods and tool proposals in these production processes. The study, with its framework, process and results, aims to increase alternative approaches and practices in these areas.
