Özet
Bu tezde Türkiye'de toplumsal cinsiyet kavramı ile ilgili yaşanılan kavram karmaşasının ve oluşan toplumsal algının İstanbul Ümraniye örneğinde araştırılması yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Ümraniye ilçesinde random yöntemi ile oluşturulan 40 kadın ve 10 erkek toplam 50 kişilik bireyler grubunda nitel araştırma yöntemi ile toplumsal algı durumu incelenmiştir. Araştırma; amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Gönüllülük esas alınmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler, 40 kadın ve 10 erkek ile yapılan görüşmede alınan notlar ve sonrasında açık uçlu sorulara verilen cevapların ses kayıtları çözümlenerek sağlanmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda cinsiyet ve toplumsal cinsiyet kavramları arasında bir anlam kargaşası oluştuğu ve bu anlam kargaşasının üçüncü cinsiyete yönelime etkisi noktasında toplumsal algıya sebep olduğu sonucu görülmüştür.

In this thesis, it is tried to investigate the confusion of concepts and the resulting social perception about the concept of gender in Turkey in the example of Istanbul Ümraniye. In Ümraniye district, the social perception situation was examined with the qualitative research method in the group of individuals The data obtained in the research were obtained by analyzing the notes taken during the interview with 40 women and 10 men, and then the voice recordings of the answers given to the open-ended questions. As a result of the research, it has been seen that there is a confusion of meaning between the concepts of gender and gender, and that this confusion causes social perception in terms of its effect on the orientation to the third gender.with a total of 50 people, 40 women and 10 men.
