ASYliuM ACCORDING TO SOME SOCIAL FACTORS Öznur KAYMAKÇI ULUTAŞ Fırat University The Institute of Social Sciences Deperment of Sociology 2000, Page 99 This study is an area research called ”The Analysis of Nevrosises and Psychosises In The Elazığ Asylum According To Some Social Factors has an aim of preparing Higher Education Thesis. In this research, the aim is to examine the certain hypothesises. The main hypothesis is if there is a meaningful relation between social factors and psychological illnesses. This main hypothesis is followed by the seconder ones. The aim of this resaarch is if there is a relation between the social factors and psychosises and nevrosises in the Elazığ Asylum. If there is; to determine the level of the effection. Therefore, firstly litareture searching has been made and later ankets and interviews have been provided in this study. The datas are used to prepare the tables and to comment on this study. From the view of this datas, these general results had been reached : First of all, the relations between social factors and age, mariage, education, income, number of sisters or brothers, parents behaviour, parents relations, living area and etc. had been found. The low level of education, bad relations of parents, much number of brothers or sisters, growing up in under developed sections, low income and such factors are all have so important effects on the members. It's determined that, members, included in this study, are in a hope for a. family with a good income and interest from parents tho them. Key words : Psychic health, psychic illnesses, nevrosis, psychosis, socialization, social factors.
