V ÖZET TÜRKİYE'NİN EGE DENİZİ KIYILARI SUBLİTTORAL BENTİK AMPHIPOD'LARI VE BİYO-EKOLOJİK ÖZELLİKLERİ SEZGİN, Murat Doktora Tezi, Su Ürünleri Temel Bilimler Anabilim Dalı Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Ahmet KOCATAŞ Eylül, 2003, 282 Sayfa Türkiye'nin Ege Denizi kıyılarında dağılım gösteren sublittoral bentik Amphipod türlerini saptamak amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada kuzeyde Enez (Edirne)' den başlayarak (Saros Körfezi, Gökçeada ve Bozcaada dahil), güneyde Marmaris'e kadar olan bölge içerisinde 101 istasyon seçilmiş ve bu istasyonların farklı biyotop ve derinliklerinden (4-183 m) bentik örneklemeler yapılmıştır. Örneklerin kalitatif ve kantitatif analizleri sonucunda 2 subordoya ait toplam 31 familya, 71 genus ve 169 tür ile bunlara ait 7215 birey tespit edilmiştir. Bunlardan 1 tür Doğu Akdeniz (Adriatik dahil), 3 1 tür Türkiye denizleri ve 46 tür de Türkiye'nin Ege Denizi faunası için yeni kayıttır. Ayrıca araştırma sahamız için yeni kayıt olarak verilen 46 türden 14'ü tüm Ege Denizi'nden ilk kez rapor edilmiştir. Araştırma bölgesi genelinde Phtisica marina, Dexamine spinosa, Harpinia dellavallei ve Caprella acanthifera en yüksek frekans indeks değerine sahip türleri oluşturmaktadır. Tespit edilen türlerin % 71.6' sımn Atlanto- Mediterranean orijinli oldukları tespit edilmiştir.

VII ABSTRACT SUBLITTORAL BENTHIC AMPHIPODS OF TURKISH AEGEAN SEA COAST AND THEIR BIOECOLOGICAL FEATURES SEZGİN, Murat Ph.D. in Fisheries Sciences Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ahmet KOCATAŞ September, 2003, 282 pages This study was carried out to determine Amphipod species distributing along the coasts of the Turkish Aegean Sea. A total of 101 stations was chosen from the sublittoral zone located between the northern Enez (Edirne) (including Saros Bay, Gökçeada and Bozcaada) and southern Marmaris province. Benthic sampling was performed from different biotopes and depths (4-183 m). As a result of qualitative and quantitative analyses of samples, a total of 169 species and 7215 specimens belonging to 71 genera, 31 families and 2 suborders were recorded. Of these, 1 species for the eastern Mediterranean (including the Adriatic Sea), 31 species for Turkish seas and 46 species for the Turkish Aegean Sea fauna are new records. Moreover, 14 of the latter 46 species given as new record from the investigation area were being here first time for the entire Aegean Sea. In the study area, Phtisica marina, Dexamine spinosa, Harpinia dellavallei and Caprella acanthifera are the species that have the highest frequency index values. 71.6 % of recorded species were the species of Atlanta-Mediterranean origin.
