Özet
IV ÖZET Bu çalışma, Türkiye'nin bazı Isatis L. (Brassicaceae) türlerinin polen morfolojisini açıklamaktadır. Palinolojik gözlemler 24 tür ve 12 alt türde yapılmıştır. Polenler genellikle tricolpatae, (oblata sphaeroidea-) prolata sphaeroidea- subprolata (-prolata). Syncolpatae, Tetracolpatae ve Pentacolpatae polen lere de rastlandı. Sekzin nekzinden daha kalın ve reticulatae'dir. Polen morfolojileri incelenen 33 takson, polenlerinin apertür sayıları göz önünde tutularak, 4 gruba ayrılmıştır. Birinci grupta sadece tri colpatae, ikinci grupta syncolpatae ve tricolpatae, üçüncü grupta tricolpatae ve tetracolpatae, dördüncü grupta ise tricolpatae, tetra colpatae ve pentacolpatae polenlere sahip taksonlar bulunmaktadır. Her taksona ait polen tanımları yapılmış ve polen morfolojisine dayalı teşhis anahtarı verilmiştir. Amacımız; bilinmeyen polenlerin teşhisine, bitki sistematiğine, apikültüre ve aeropalinolojik çalışmalara yardımcı olmaktır.

SUMMARY This dissertation seeks to explain the pollen morphology of some Isatis L. species in Turkey. Palynological observations have covered 24 species and 12 subspecies. Pollen grains usually tricolpate, (oblate spheroidal-) prolate spheroidal- subprolate (-prolate). Syncolpate, tetracolpate, and pentacolpate grains were occasionally found. Sexine thicker than nexine, and reticulate. The 33 taxons, whose pollen morphologies have been examined, are divi ded into four groups in wiew of the number of the apertures of their pollen grains. The first group comprises taxons with tricolpate pollen grains; the second, taxons with syncolpate and tricolpate ones; the third, taxons with tricolpate and tetracolpate ones; and the fourth, taxons with tricolpate, tetracolpate and pentacolpate ones. Pollen descriptions pertaining to each taxon have been made separately, and similarly, a key of identification based on the pollen morphology have been supplied with each taxon. The aim of our research is to help the identification of the unknown pollen grains in the study of plant taxonomy, apiculture, and aeropalyno- logical research.
