Özet
ÖZET Tam protezlerin yapımında, özellikle rezorbe çenelerde, tutuculuk ve stabiliteyi sağlamak oldukça zordur. Bir çok otorite, tutuculuk ve stabiliteyi arttırmak için tam protezlerin nötral zon kavramına uygun olarak yapılmasını önermektedir. Bu düşünceyle, çalışmamız da nötral zonun tam protezlerin retansiyon ve stabilitesine olan katkısını incelemeyi düşündük. 5 hasta üzerinde gerçekleştirdiğimiz çalışmada, stenç ölçü maddesi kullanılarak nötral zon belirlenmiştir. Hastalarımıza ilk etapta nötral zonu dikkate almadan yaptığımız protezleri uyguladık ve kontrolleri bittikten 2 hafta sonra protezleri ile ilgili görüşlerini aldık, 2. etapta hastalarımızın protezlerini nötral zon saptayarak bitirip hastalarımıza uyguladık ve gerekli kontroller yapıldıktan 2 hafta sonra hastalarımızın bu protezler ile ilgili görüşlerini alıp, karşılaştırmasını yaptık. Kas hareketlerine göre şekillenmiş stenç duvarların vestibül ve lingual yüzey konturları, denekler arasında, kesici ve azılar bölgesinde farklılık göstermiştir. Tutuculuk bakımından nötral zon saptanan protezler çok daha iyi sonuç vermiştir. Hastalardan 3'ü nötral zon saptanan protezi kaba bulmamış ve deneklerin hiçbirinde vestibül yüzeyde besin birikimi olmamıştır. Bu da yaptığımız protezlerin yanaklara iyi destek olduğunu ve yanakla protez arasında besin birikimine neden olabilecek bir boşluk bırakılmadığını ve dilin temizleme fonksiyonunu yeterince gerçekleştirdiğini düşündürmüştür. 45Dikkat çekici bir noktada, protezlerin takılmasından sonra ki kontrol seanslarında, nötral zon saptanarak yapılan protezlerde sadece hastalardan 2'sinde vuruk ile karşılaşıldı. Protez stabilitesinin iyi olması sonucunda, vuruk şikayetinin az görüldüğü düşünülebilir. 46

SUMMARY In producing complete plates, especially in resorbed chins, it is quite hard to maintain retantion and stability. Most authorities recommend the complete plates to be produced in accordance with the neutral zone concept in order to enhance retantion and stability. With this opinion, we considered to study in our research the contribution of the neutral zone to the retention and stability of the complete plates. In the research that we performed among 5 patients, the neutral zone is determined using stanch measure substance. In the first stage we applied to our patients the plates that we produced without taking the neutral zone into account and we took their opinions relevant to the plates 2 weeks after their controls were finished; in the second stage we applied to our patients the plates that we finished determining neutral zone and we did the comparison as we took their opinions relevant to these plates 2 weeks after the necessary controls were done. Among the subjects, the vestibule and lingual surface contours of the stanch walls that took shape according to the muscle movements differed in cutter and molar tooth region. The plates that were determined neutral zone according to retantion gave much better results. Three of the patients didn't find rough the plate that was determined neutral zone and there wasn't any food accumulation on vestibule surface among any patients. This made us consider that the plates we made were good supports to cheeks and no cavity which would cause food 47accumulation between the cheek and the plate was left and that the tongue was sufficiently performing its cleaning function. As a point attracting attention, during the control screenings after the plates implementation, at the plates made as the neutral zone determined, there come across chafe only in two of the patients. As a result that the plate stability is well, it might be considered that the chafe complaint is low. 48
