VI ÖZET ASTIMLI ÇOCUKLARIN EBEVEYNLERİNE VERİLEN EĞİTİMİN EVDEKİ ÇEVRESEL TETİKLEYİCİLERİ AZALTMAYA ETKİSİ SUZAN ÖZKAN Bu çalışma Astımlı çocukların ebeveynlerine verilen eğitimin evdeki çevresel tetikleyicileri azaltmaya etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmış, yarı deneysel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın örneklemine, Dokuz Eylül Üniversite Hastanesi Hasta Çocuk Polikliniği Alerji Bölüm ve Ege Üniversite Hastanesi Çocuk Solunum- Alerji Polikliniğinde Astım tanısı ile izlenen 52 çocuğun ebeveyni alınmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak Sosyo- demografık Özellikler Soru Formu Ve Ev Ortamı Tamlama Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, ev ortamındaki çevresel tetikleyiciler değerlendirildiğinde; eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası toplam risk puanları arasında anlamlı fark olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ev ortamı tanılama formu alt başlıkları incelendiğinde; toz, sigara, ev içi hayvan ve kimyasal ürün kontrolü konusunda eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası risk puanları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Küf kontrolü risk puanları incelendiğinde eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrasında anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, hemşirelerin Astımlı çocukların evlerine yapacakları düzenli ev ziyaretleri ile ev ortamındaki tetikleyicilerin tanımlanması ve ebeveynlerin bu tetikleyicileri azaltabilecekleri konusunda farkındalıklarının artırılması için düzenli olarak bireysel ve grup eğitimlerinin yapılması önerilmektedir.

THE EFFECTS OF TEACHING GIVEN TO PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH ASTHMA TO REDUCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL TRIGGERS This is a semi-experimental study to determine the effects of teaching on reduce at home environmental triggers to parents of children with asthma. The study group consists 52 parents of children with asthma. The data were collected by social- demographical fetures questionnaire and home check-list form. İn the analysis of finding related to risk point of home environmental triggers it was found that the difference between total risk point before and after the environmental triggers teaching was significant. In the analysis of sub-title home check-list form mite, environmental tobacco smoke, pet/pest and chemical product controls significant differnce was found between risk points before and after the environmental triggers teaching. No significant difference was found when risk points of mold controls anallysed before and after the environmental triggers teaching. According to study results, it is suggested to make regular home visits to the children with asthma and to define triggers in the home environment by nurses. Besides in order to parents could reduce these triggers it is suggested regular individual and group teachings should be done.
