ÖZET DUMAN, Erdal.“Heykelde Mekan ve Bellek İlişkisi”, Sanat Eseri Raporu Çalışması, Ankara 2006.“Heykelde Mekan ve Bellek ilişkisi”adlı bu çalışmada, mekan bir mücadele alanım temsil ederken bellek de bu alana gelmesi beklenilen geçmişi ve şimdiyi taşır. Bellek bu yanıyla umuda dönüşür ve her şimdiki zamanı, öznenin geçmişiyle birleştirir. Bu birleştirmelerde geçmiş sürekli hareket eder ve çoğalır. Bellek öznenin geçmişiyle ilişkiye girdiğinde anıların saklı olduğu mekanlarla şimdiki mekanı buluşturur. Mekan yeniden üretilir ve zaman geriye itilerek mekanın baskın rolüyle ve belleğin sayesinde geçmiş şimdide varolur. Heykel, mekan ve belleğin bu flörtünde belleği hem tetiklemiş hem de bellekten yaratılmıştır. Heykel bellekle ilişkiye girdiğinde öznenin geçmişi şimdide varolmuş ve mekan yeniden üretilmiştir. 11 ABSTRACT DUMAN, Erdal.“Place and Memory Relation in Sculpture”, Work of Art Report, Ankara 2006. In this work named“Place and Memory Relation in Sculpture”, while place represents a struggle place, memory carries the past and the present which are expected to come into the place. With this property, memory turns into hope and connects every present time with the past of the subject. In these connections, past always moves and increases. When the memory connects with the past of the subject, it gets together the places that hides the memories with the present place. Place is produced again, time is pushed to past and past exists in the present by the dominant role of the place and the help of the memory. In the flirtation of the place and the memory, sculpture both alerts the memory and created from the memory. When the sculpture gets into the connection with the memory, the past of the subject exists in the present and the place is produced again. So, the new image appears with the sculpture, creates a new place for the memory by increasing the information about the object.
