-175- SUMMARY.. ...,,.. la the first half(part) of the fourteenth century,îha Battuta the famous Arabian traveller,went(up) to the Crimea by sea from Si~ nop.In those years the-State of Altxn^-Orda existed in the region of Deşt-i Kxpcakoozbek KhanC 1312-1340)». who had come from Cuci's - race, Cengğz Khan's oldest son, was the ruler of this stae» The brightest(most successful) period of the State of Altxn-Orda.was Özbek Khan's» This ruler took the name. Muhammed and tried tot settle the religion of Islam after he had acoeded( the throne) and had accepted Islam» As for the Transoxania and Türkistan region, the rulers coming from the race of Chagatau, who was the other son of Cengiz Khan were dominating the Sate of Chagatay.Tarmaşirin Khan was the head of the State» This ruler, too, had become a Muslim and taken the name Alaeddin»Before the Mongolian- invas i on, Transoxania was ofie'.bf the'most civilized parts of the Turkish Muslim world.
