VI - ) SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS Leasing is a very well known financial source for many countries on the World. The reason for the growth of leasing in few decades is the support of the governments. Many encouraged legislations are issued for the lessors and lessees for the usage of financial leasing. Like many other countries Turkey is expecting many benefits from leasing, and therefore the needed law of financial leasing is issued by the government and made it possible that financial leasing companies will be created. An important aim of the governmental circles was to be able to collect the funds in Islamic countries to Turkey »with the help of financial leasing. For longer terms, leasing should be an instrument, which increases the financial source level for the country. In Turkey leasing couldn't fulfil the expectations of the concerns. The reason for this, is not any legislative problem. The main point is the unstable economies conditions and the inflation. This negative effect makes it nearly impossible, to get or to create financial sources for longer than two or three years. Usage of leasing as a short term source,is the result of the conditions. That prevents leasing from financing investment goods. 109There are some problems about the legal arrangement of the cross-border leasing. These problems prevent to increase the export capabilities of Turkey. Leasing is a very advantageous financial source »despite Turkey's ünproper conditions. All these advantages are expressed in several parts of this thesis. Especially the opportunity of the transfer of the benefits of incentives makes leasing an attractive financial source. In case of the decrease of the inflation rate »financial leasing will be the source for most of the investments in Turkey, which we hypothesized. 110
