Özet
Cerebyte firmasının Infinos, GroupSystem firmasının ThinkTank yazılımı gibi bilgi yönetimi yazılımları, işletmelere büyük bir rekabet gücü kazandıran, firmanın sahip olduğu açık ve örtülü bilginin tanımlanmasına, toplanmasına ve tekrardan kullanılabilmesine olanak sağlayan yazılımlardır. Bu çalışmada bilgi yönetimi yazılımları için geliştirilmiş olan mantık kullanılarak web tabanlı eğitime uygulanması amaçlanmıştır.Web tabanlı bir öğrenme yönetim sistemi modeli oluşturulmuş ve WebUsta adını verdiğimiz bir yazılım geliştirilmiştir. WebUsta içine elektronik öğrenme standartları geliştiren kurumların ortak paydası olan tekrardan kullanılabilen öğrenim nesnesi kavramı yerleştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen yazılımla ?Kablosuz yerel ağ güvenliği? konusunda öğrenci ve öğretmenlerin de eğitilebileceği bir ortam oluşturulmuştur. Bu sistemle İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği Bölümü 2007-2008 yılı birinci sınıf öğrencilerine bilişim güvenliği eğitimi verilmiştir. Ayrıca İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği bölümü öğrencilerine ve Marmara Üniversitesi Elektronik Bilgisayar Eğitimi öğrencilerine klasik eğitim yöntemleri ile aynı ders anlatılmıştır.WebUsta modeli ile bu konuda tecrübeli uzman kişilerin bilgileri tanımlanarak, toplanarak, kodlanarak, bu konuda az bilgiye sahip olanların da bir uzman kişiymiş gibi eğitime başlamalarına olanak tanınmaktadır.Eğitim sonucunda yapılan anketler WebUsta modelinin öğrenci üzerinde klasik eğitime göre daha olumlu etkiler bıraktığı saptanmıştır.

Knowledge management softwares such as Infinos of the Cerebyte Inc. and ThinkTank of the GroupSystem, are able to identify, collect, share and reuse the tacit and implicit knowledge of enterprises, giving the enterprises a great competitive power. In this study the logic developed for knowledge management softwares has been aimed to be used for a web based education.A new web based learning management system model has been developed and a software that we named as WebUsta has been established. Reusable Learning Object concept, which is the common concept for organizations developing e-learning standards, has been introduced to WebUsta software. The developed software can be used as an instruction material for ?Wireless local area network (WLAN) security? lectures given not only to students but also to tutors. Using WebUsta, a WLAN Security lecture has been given to 2007-2008 freshman students of Istanbul Commerce University Computer Engineering Department. Moreover, The same subject has been lectured using classical teaching methods to the students of Computer Engineering department of Istanbul Commerce University and Electronics and Computer Teaching Department of Marmara UniversityInexperienced students and lecturers can fallow the lecture as if they are experts of the subject, using the identified, collected and codified knowledge of experts of the subject with the help of WebUsta.The questionnaire administrated on students after the lecture shows that the WebUsta model has a much more positive effect on students with respect to classical education.
