87 SUMMARY MA Thesis :“Methodological examination of Sunanu1 t-Tirmizî”This MA thesis consists of two chapters. In the introduction I've tackled the birth, growth and be coming of a scholar of Tirmizî and pointed out his relation ship with the other scholars then in the Islamic World such as el-Buhârî etc. In chapter one the appropriation of calling the Sunan of et-Tirmizî as Câmî, opinions on Sunan, transmitters of Sunan, its narration exposes, its consises etc, has been dealt with. In the second and last chapter the methodology of et-Tir mizî in his work, es-Sunan, has been discussed. Besides, some con cepts used by et-Tirmizî and defining the Hasen hadith by et- Tirmizî and el-Hattâbî has been tackled. Following this datas some objections on these defining has been given. As is known the most important point in this subject is the argumentation of Hasen hadith. Accordingly, with some instances by sects I've given the Hasen hadits which used as a delîl (argument) in the Islamic Jurisprundence.
