Özet

Bu araştırma, ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerinin okul kantinlerinden besin seçimleri ve annelerinin besin güvenliği bilgi düzeylerinin saptanması amacıyla Gaziantep İl Merkezindeki 30 Ağustos İlköğretim Okulu ikinci kademede okuyan, toplam 300 öğrenci ve 300 anne üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Genel tarama modelinde betimsel nitelikteki bu araştırmada veriler anket formu ile elde edilmiştir.Araştırmada, erkek öğrencilerin % 42.0'si kız öğrencilerin ise % 32.5'i yiyecek alışverişlerinde okul kantinini tercih etmektedirler. Öğrencilerin kantinden ilk sırada simidi (%13.9) satın almayı tercih ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Çay(%31.0) okulda her gün tüketilen içecek olarak saptanmıştır. Öğrenciler kantinde satılan ürünlerin hijyenik olmadığını (%59.0) düşünmektedir. Annelerin %60.0'ı açıkta satılan besinleri satın almamaktadır. Çocuklarına besin güvenliği ile ilgili uyarılarda bulunduğunu belirten annelerin yüzdesi %86,3'dür. Annelerin %74,1'inin çocuklarının okul kantininden hızlı hazır yiyecekler, %16.4'ünün ise çikolata, şekerleme almasına karşı çıktıkları saptanmıştır. This study was implemented at total 300 students who are educated in 30 Ağustos Secondary School in Gaziantep City center and 300 mothers to determine food choice of the Primary education second degree students from school canteens and to determine food safety information level of mothers. The data in this study which is in general scanning model in descriptive qualification has been availed through an inquiry form.In the study, 42,0 % of male students, 32,5 % of female students prefers school canteen at their food shopping. It was determined that the students prefer the bagel at the first order (13,9 %) and the tea (31,0%) was determined as every day consuming drink at the school. The students (59,0 %) think that the foods that are sold in the school canteen are not hygienic. 60,0 % of the mothers don?t buy foods that are sold at open air 86,3 % of mothers warn their children about food safety. 74, 1 % of mothers are against to their children for purchasing fast food from school canteen and 16,4 % are against to their children for purchasing chocolate, candy. It was determined that the levels of the mothers about food safety affect their children?s situation for purchasing food from school canteen.Consequently, the findings of this study in which the elements as mother, school canteen and staff that may be affective for healthy food choice of the students are examined will provide contributions to the studies that will be done about the similar subjects. The affection of mother?s education about food safety, choice healthy food of their children should be considered.
