Özet
İfade aracı olarak kullanılan bedenin, Performans Sanatı ile ilişkisi ve Performans Sanatı'nın ne olduğuna dair sorunsalın ele alındığı bu tezde, Performans Sanatı'nın 1990 sonrası Çağdaş Türk Sanatı'ndaki gelişmeleriyle ilgili açıklık getirmek amaç edinilmiş olup, buna dair bir bellek oluşturmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, köklerini Batı sanatında bulabileceğimiz Performans Sanatı'nın nasıl ortaya çıkıp geliştiği bu süreçteki evreleri incelenip, tiyatro, dans, müzik-şiir, video ve fotoğraf ile olan ilişkisine de değinilerek, anlatılmıştır. Batı'da gelişen Performans Sanatı'nın incelenmesinin ardından Performans Sanatı'nın, Türk Sanatı'ndaki ilk izlenimlerini edinebileceğimiz 1990 öncesi döneme bakıp, yapılan etkinlikler ve performanslardan örnekler verilmiştir. Bu bağlamda, Akademi'de, Adnan Çoker ve öğrencilerinin yaptığı etkinlikler, Akademi öğrencilerinin kurduğu grupların yaptığı performanslar bugüne yansıyan önemli örneklerdir.Performans Sanatı'nın Türk Sanatı'nda yer edinmeye, adlandırılmaya başlaması 1990 sonrası olmakla beraber, bu yıllardan itibaren yapılan, disiplinlerarası sanat formu olan Performans Sanatı'nın gelişimine katkı sağlayan çeşitli disiplinlerarası etkinliklere bakılıp, dönemin sanatçılarının çalışmalarına yer verilerek Performans Sanatı'nın Türkiye'de nasıl algılandığı anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Performanslar, 90'lı yıllar öncesinde, dönemin siyasi ortamı, çevre kirliliği gibi yansımaları üzerinden eğitim, protesto ve eğlence amacı güdülerek yapılmış olup, 90'lı yıllar sonrasında daha çok cinsiyet, kültür, kimlik gibi konular üzerinden ?beden ve varlık? sorunsalı ile yapılmış, resimden, müziğe, felsefeden, resime birçok disiplinin etkileşim içinde olduğu etkinlik ve festivalde kendini göstermiştir.Günümüz üretimlerine devam eden, farklı disiplinlerden gelen sanatçıların çalışmalarından örnekler, isimlerinin başlığı altında incelenmiştir. Yer verilen sanatçılar, Performans Sanatı'yla ilişkilendirilebilecek çalışmalarıyla süreklilik arz ettikleri için seçilmişlerdir. Bu çerçevede, yapmış olduğum performans çalışmalarımdan örnekleri de sunmaktayım.Konuyla ilgili yapılan araştırma ve kaynak incelemelerinde, Türkiye'de Performans Sanatı'yla ilgili verilerin yetersizliği nedeniyle sanatçıların görüşleri alınmış, kimi sanatçılarla söyleşiler yapılmıştır. Bu noktada, sanatçıların görüşleri, döneme tanıklık etmiş kişiler olarak önem arz etmektedir.

In this thesis in which the body as a means of expression and its relation to the Performance Art, and the problematic of what the Performance Art is, with the purpose of clarifying the development of Performance Art in the contemporary Turkish art after 1990, it will be taken hold of and the attempt is to form a memory of it. In this sense, the phases in the process how the Performance Art that we can find its roots in Western art emerged and progressed are examined and the relation between the Performance Art and theatre, dance, music, poetry, video and photograph is explained. Following the examination of Performance Art that has been developed in the West, the periof before 1900 which we can get the first impressions of Performance Art in Turkish art, and some examples regarding the activities and performances are given. In this regard, in the Academy, the activities made by Adnan Çoker and his students and the performances by the groups established by the students of the Academy are important representatives today.Performance Art found its place and been given name after 1990 and examining varous interdisciplinary activities that contributed to the progress of Performance Art from that date on, giving place to the works of the artists in that period, the perception about Performance Art in Turkey is attempted to be understood. Performances, before 1990s, were made with the aim of education, protesting and entertainment on the basis of the reflections such as political environment of the period or environmental pollution, but after 1990s, Performance Art shows itself in many activities and festivals in which a good number of disciplines interacts from painting to music or from philosophy to painting, and also the subjects changed to gender, culture, identity with the problematic of ?body and existence?.Examples of the artists of different disciplines and producing art today are analyzed under the title of their names. Artists under consideration are chosen due to the fact that their works related to Performance Art provides continuity. Then, I present the examples of my performances. In the researches and the survey for the sources, on the account of the lack in the datas on Performance Art in Turkey, interviews are made with a number of artists. The ideas of the artists as people who witnessed the period, at this point, are important.
