SUMMARY This sTudy in which we studied the knowledge in Islam and the West has an introduction and two chapters. In the first chapter twe has taken charge of definations of knowledge that have been in Islamic and western sources. In other section of the first chapter we has taken charge of virtue, kinds and value of knowledge. When we studied on these topios,we compared hetween western and Islamic opinions. Some of our sources in first chapter are iheölogic sources others ate tradional.Bşoause the topic is interested in“both theology and tradition.
