Özet
Genelden özele ilerleyen çalışmamızda sembollerin geçmişten günümüze kullanımı, Sembolizmin doğuşu, felsefesi, ilke ve özelliklerine çalışmada yer verildi.Daha sonrasında Dünya edebiyatında Sembolizm, Türk edebiyatında sembolizm, Rus Edebiyatında Sembolizm, Rus Sembolizminin felsefesi ve estetiği,Rus Sembolist şairler, Fransız Sembolist dizesinin Rus dizesine etkisi, Valeriy Yakovleviç Bryusov'un yaşamı, sanat yaşamı, ait olduğu edebiyat ve sanat çevreleri ve şiirlerinde kullandığı konu ve imgeler anlatıldı.

In our study, which moves from general to special, the usage of symbols from past to present, emergence of symbolism,the philosophy and the principals and characteristics is analysed.Further it includes the symbolism in the literature of other countries,the philosophy and the aesthetics of russian symbolism, the russian symbolist poets, the influence of French verstification on russian verstification, the life and artlife of Valery Yakovlevich Bryusov, the attendence to literature and art societies and the usage of themes and symbols in his poetry.
