Özet
V.ÖZET“Belgrad ormanı ile çevresindeki ormanların varlığını tehdit eden etkenler.”adlı bu çalışma Orman Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı Orman En- tomolisi veKoruma programında yüksek lisans tezi olarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu tez dört ana bölümden oluşmaktadır; Birinci bölümde konuya giriş yapılarak Belgrad ormanı ve çevresindeki ormanların tanıtımı, bu ormanların geçmişi, bugünkü durumu, mevkisi, iklim durumu, jeolojik temel ve topografık özellikleri, orman durumu, vejetasyon, su varlıkları, yaban hayatı, orman halk ilişkileri ile yöre ormanlarının idaresini yürüten işletmelerin kuruluş amacı ve görevleri detaylı şekilde ele alınmış, tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci' bölümde; Materyal ve yöntem kısmına yer verilmiş hangi tür materyallerden yararlanıldığı ve ne tür yöntemler kullanıldığı belirtilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; Belgrad Ormanı ve çevresindeki ormanların varlığını tehdit eden etkenler biyotik (canlı) ve abiyotik (cansız) çevre faktörleri detaylı bir şekilde arazide ve büroda incelenerek tesbit edilmiştir. Biyotik faktörler, açma, yerleşme, otlatma, kaçak kesimler, rekreasyon faaliyetlerinin olumsuz etkileri, böcek zararları, mantar zararları, geyik üretme sahasının etkileri, madencilik faaliyetleri adı altında, Abiyotik faktörler ise pollüsyon ve yangınlar olarak incelenerek bu faktörlerin etkileri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde, Belgrad Ormanı ve çevresindeki ormanların varlığının ciddi tehdit altında olduğu bu nedenlede alınmış ve alınabilecek tedbirler tartışılarak İstanbul için büyük öneme sahip olan bu ormanların daha sıkı bir şekilde korunmasının gerektiği bunun içinde vakit geçirilmeden yeni çok yönlü koruma planlarının yapılması gerektiği vurgulanmış, alınabilecek ekonmik, yasal ve teknik tedbirler ortaya konulmuştur. Netice olarakta bu ormanların İstanbul halkı için çok önemli olduğu buna karşın yapılan bu çalışmaların ortaya koyduğu sonuçlara görede Belgrad Ormanı ve çevresindeki ormanların varlığım tehdit eden ciddi etkenlerin olduğu saptanarak bu tehlikelere karşı alınabilecek önlemlere ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur. 67

SUMMARY The Factors Threatening The Existance of The Belgrad and Sur- rmınding Forests. This work, named“The Factors Threatening The Existance of The Belgrad and Surrounding Forests ”has been prepared as a M.Sc. thesis for ther Program of Forest protection and Entomology in Department of forest Engineering. \ Thisworkconsists of four main parts. in the first part, as an introduction, there is a detailed explanation abo- ut the Belgrad and surrounding forests, the history of these forests, their pe- resent state, locality, climate conditions, Jeological and soil aspects, condi- tions as foirests, vegetation, vvater sources, wild life, forest-people relationships, and the main goal and duties of administrations which have under taken the management of these forests. The Second Part is about materials and methods: Which materials are used and the methods which utilize these materials. in the third part the biütic and abiotic environmental factors which threaten the existance of the Belgrad and the surrounding forests are fully detailed. This information was derived from both field observations and by research; through the observations and research, the factors that threaten the Belgrad and the surrounding forests were clearly shown. The biotic fac¬ tors are studied underthese groupings: Creating fields for agriculture, sett- lement, pasturing, illegal cutting of the trees, negative effects of recreation activities, insect and fungous harm, effects of fields for deer raising and mining activities. Abiotic factors are studied under the groupings of polluti- on and fire. 68in the fourth part it ise emphasized that the existance of the Belgrad and Surrounding forests are under serious threat. So, the precautions which have been taken and will be taken are discussed and it is necessary to protect these forests very strictly. For this reason it is necessary to prepa- re new, detailed protection plans urgently; the economic, legislative and technical precautions are brought up, as well. in conclusion, it is substantiated that these forests are very important for '-the citizens of istanbul, but the results from this work show that there are serious factors \vhich endanger the existance of the Belgrad and the sur- rounding forests. Subsequently, there are some suggestions for how to pro- vent this -destruction. 69
