Özet
Kentlerde artan nüfus yoğunluğu nedeniyle konut ihtiyacı artmıştır. Bu ihtiyacı karşılamak için, toplu konut olgusu ortaya çıkmıştır. Toplu konut yapıları zamanla değişim göstermiş ve günümüzde sosyal donatıların da önem kazandığı görülmüştür. Çalışmada, 1980 den günümüze Edirne'de yapılan toplu konut uygulamaları içerisinden seçilen örnekler çerçevesinde, oluşan değişimler; İmar Planları Kararlarının Değişimi, Konut Kullanım Alanlarında İhtiyacın Değişimi Ve Ek Mekânlarla Genişletilmesi, Plan Şemalarındaki Değişim, Teknolojik Gelişimlerin Konut Planlamasında Meydana Getirdiği Değişimler şeklinde 4 başlıkta incelenmiş, değişimlerin sebepleri ve sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir. 1.Bölümde problemin belirlenmesi, çalışmanın amacı ve yöntemi belirlenmiştir. 2.Bölümde, konut olgusunun nasıl ortaya çıktığı, gelişimi, konut ihtiyacını doğuran sebepler ele alınmıştır. Ülkemizde konut ihtiyacının ne durumda olduğu, konuta olan talebe hangi faktörlerin etki ettiği ve ülkemizin konut sorununu çözme arayışında geçirdiği evreler çözüm yolları ile birlikte araştırılmıştır. 3.Bölümde, konut sorununun çözümünde en yaygın yaklaşım türü olan toplu konutun gerek yurt dışında gerekse yurt içinde gelişimi incelenmiştir. Ülkemizde üretilen toplu konut çözümlerinde, nasıl bir gelişim izlendiği bunların hangi yollar ile üretildiği yer almıştır. 4.Bölümde toplu konut örneklerinin Türkiye ölçeğinden Edirne ölçeğine inilerek, çeşitli dönemlerdeki gelişimi ele alınmıştır. 5.Bölümde seçilen örnekler dikkate alınarak 1980' den günümüze, toplu konutlarda değişen özellikler ve bunların sebepleri incelenmiştir. 6.Bölümde konutlarda oluşan değişimlerin olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerine değinilerek, olumsuz yönlerin giderilmesine dair önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The need for housing has increased in parallel with population growth in cities. In order to fulfill this necessity, the concept of mass housing has been arised. Mass housing buildings have faced a number of alterations over time, and it is observed that nowadays, social facilities have gained importance. In this study, in the scope of the examples, selected from mass housing projects implemented since 1980 up to the moment, in Edirne as follow: Changes in Master plan decisions and legislations Changes in requirements in housing utility areas and enlargement of houses by new spaces. Changes in floor plan typologies Changes in house-planning caused by technological improvements. The mentioned alterations are considered under 4 titles, and reasons and results of the changes are evaluated. In 1st chapter, statement of problem, motivation for study and methodology; in 2nd chapter, the matter of how housing concept was formed and the reasons of housing necessity are being studied. The current situation of housing necessity in our country, factors affecting housing demand and the phases in seek of solving the mentioned housing issue of our country are investigated. In 3rd chapter, the development of mass housing as one of the most common approaches in solving housing issue is deemed. The development process and methodologies of such solutions proposed in our country are explained. Afterwards, in 4th section, a number of mass housing samples from the scale of Turkey down to that of Edirne are taken into consideration in the context of different periods. In 5th section, with regard to the mentioned cases, changing characteristics in mass housing after 1980 and the reasons of these changes are discussed. Finally, in 6th chapter, negative and positive aspects of the changes in the houses are mentioned and several recommendations are given in order to decrease the negative aspects.
