Özet
Bu tezin amacı, Antik Yunan felsefesinin en temel kavramlarından birisi olan logosu incelemektir. Bu amaçla, logosun felsefe öncesinden Platon'a kadar olan dönemde geçirdiği değişim ve dönüşüm üzerinden felsefî düşüncenin doğuşu da ele alınacaktır. Tezin ilk bölümünde logosun felsefe öncesi anlamları incelenirken kavram, mitos ile birlikte ele alınacak ve ünlü 'mitostan logosa' kalıbının temelleri incelenecektir. Çalışmamızın ikinci bölümünde Sokrates öncesi Yunan felsefesinde logosun anlamı incelenecek ve bu nedenle felsefî sistemlerinde logosa yer veren düşünürler ele alıncaktır. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise Platon'da logos kavramı incelecektir. Bu amaçla ilk önce filozofun mitos eleştirisi ele alınacak daha sonra Platon metinlerinde logos, filozofun idealar kuramı ile olan ilişkisi bakımından ele alınacaktır. Böylelikle hem Platon'un idealar kuramında gerçekleştirdiği tashih üzerinden felsefi değişimi incelenecek hem de bu değişim çerçevesinde logosun rolü ele alınacaktır.

The main purpose of this thesis is to examine logos which is one of the main concepts in Ancient Greek Philosophy. With this purpose, the emergence of philosophical thought will be discussed from the standpoint of transformation of logos from pre-philosophical era to Plato. When the different meanings of logos in pre-philosophical era are elaborated in the first chapter of thesis, concept of logos will be held associated with mythos and basis of famous conception 'from mythos to logos' will be examined. The second chapter of this study concentrates on the meaning of logos in the Pre-Socratic time of Greek Philosophy, for this reason, Pre-socratic philosophers who examined logos in their philosophical system will be discussed. Third and the last chapter aims to clarify Plato's concept of logos. Because of that, this chapter helds primarily Plato's critics of mythos and then concept of logos in the texts of him with relation of theory of forms. Thus, philosophical transformation will be examined over revisions of theory of forms and in this transformation frame role of logos will be held.
