Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, tarihte anlam sorununu, tarih felsefesinin bir dalı olan tarih metafiziği bağlamında ele almaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda birinci bölümde, tarih felsefesinin, tarih terimine yüklenen anlamlara paralel olarak şekillenen iki türü tanıtılmaya ve tarih metafiziğinin sorun alanı açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde, anlam sorununun tarih metafiziğinde hangi bağlamda tartışıldığının açık kılınabilmesi için, felsefede anlam sorununun çeşitli görünüşleri ve dini açıdan tarihte anlam sorunu üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde ise, tarihte anlam sorunu,“ilkeler”,“tarihin seyri”ve“amaçlar”şeklinde belirlenmiş olan bir model üzerinden gidilerek incelenmiştir. Vico, Kant, Hegel, Condorcet ve Comte'un tarih anlayışlarında sunulan malzemeden yola çıkılarak, anlam sorununun hangi temeller üzerinde tartışılabildiği ve tarih metafiziğindeki yeri gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to deal with the problem of meaning in history in the context of the metaphysics of history, which is a branch of philosophy of history. In line with this purpose, two types of philosophy of history were introduced in the first chapter, it was demonstrated that these two types evolved in parallel with the meanings ascribed to the term 'history', and the area of problem of the metaphysics of history was described. In the second chapter, various aspects of the problem of meaning in philosophy and the problem of meaning from a religious point of view was studied in order to clarify in which context the problem of meaning is discussed in the metaphysics of history. In the third chapter, the problem of meaning in history was reviewed based on a model that was determined as“principles”,“course of history”and“goals”. By using the material provided in the conceptions of history of Vico, Kant, Hegel, Condorcet and Comte, it was shown on which basis the problem of meaning can be discussed and its place in the metaphysics of history was demonstrated.
