Özet

Steel structural systems have been designed under effect of dead loads and wind loads ( or earthquake ). It has been used Turkish Standart (TS.498) for the obtained loads. In this study the stress and stability controls of the members have been performed in accordance with the Turkish Standard. (TS.648).. For tension members: °=£ *“. An - net cross-section area. SUMMARY THE SEARCHING ANECONOMICAL SYSTEM FOR 1HE STRUCTÜRES USING ON ACOVERED MARKET-PLACE in Civil Engineering, safbty, dıuability and economy are three main design critetias. Designers uy to find out how to create the most usable and the strongest buüdings vvith the lovvest expenditurs. Tbe factor of economy is getting more important in bırilding industıy. So, designers have to find out difibrent systems vvith diflEerent materialsfor the economy. Tbemainpurposeofthis study, is to seaiühtbe different typo of steel structural systems tbat hava the economic results. in addition, different materials that can be used on these structures, are used for the seaıcbing economical results. The chosen arca has forty to sixty-six meters dimension plan. it can be used a colunm in 40 m. span for the structural systems. With the aim of finding out the most economical system, it searohed four steel structures, two fixed systems and two prefabricated systems on this arca. Matenal expenditutes of ali systems would be given as a table after some required calculations. This obtained results would be multiply by the unit costs to find out the total costs of the systems. Unit costs of structure materials have been taken from some buüding companies. Unit costs of ali systems have been given as a table at the end ofovmparts. Four steel structural systems have been analyzed for their şelf weigh per unit aıea as the economy index. The obtained results have been evaluated in order to identify the most economic steel structural system compared with the others considered in this study. The plane truss systems ör fiames considered here in vvith covering forty to sixty-six meters plain aıea were designed by supporting in every six meter at sides of 66 m. span. At the first part of this study, four structural systems have been considered for the steel structures. Ih figüre (l.b)&(l.d), plain truss systems have been chosen. in figüre (l.a)&(l.c), plain fiames have been chosen. in these choose, there vvere used some economic research for the someparts of the structures. These obtained results have been shovvn at the part of results of the study in a table. VTTSteel structural systems have been designed under effect of dead loads and wind loads ( or earthquake ).
