Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine alexithymia, interoceptive sensibility, interoceptive awareness, and disgust in participants with Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) traits. Method: A convenience sample from a non-clinical population aged between 18 and 50 is invited to participate in this study. 118 healthy participants completed the Body Perception Questionnaire Very Short Form, Obsessive–Compulsive Inventory-Revised (OCI-R), Self Awareness Questionnaire (SAQ), Disgust Scale-Revised (DS-R) and the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) via an online survey. Results: Alexithymia and interoceptive awareness (IA) moderately correlated with OCD traits, and interoceptive sensibility and disgust sensitivity weakly correlated with OCD traits. Conclusion: The results of the current study showed that interoceptive sensibility, IA, alexithymia and disgust are in relation with OCD.
