Özet
Çalışmamızın asıl konusunu; XVII. yüzyılın ikinci yarısı ile XVIII. yüzyılın ilk yarısında yaşamış, Nâbî ve Seyyid Vehbî gibi dönemin önemli şairlerin şiir meclisinde bulunmuş, Mevlevî Şeyhi Manisalı Birrî Mehmed Dede'nin Dîvânı'ndan seçtiğimiz elli gazelin şerhi oluşturmaktadır. Birrî, kendisini tasavvuf alanında geliştirmiş bir şairdir. Dolayısıyla gazellerindeki tasavvuf izlerini de çalışmamızda belirtmeye çalıştık. Amacımız, çok yönlü bir şair olan Birrî'nin hayal âleminin kapılarını aralamak, o dünyaya girebilmek ve eski edebiyat tutkunlarının da o atmosferde gezmesini sağlayabilmektir. Bu yüzden şairin engin sanatkârlığının ürünleri olan gazellerini şerh etmeye azmettik. Çalışmamız, üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde Birrî'nin yaşadığı dönem; sosyal, siyasî, kültürel ve edebî yönlerden değerlendirilmiştir. İkinci bölümde; şairin hayatı, eserleri ve edebî şahsiyeti hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise“şerh”kavramı üzerine genel ve muhtasar bir açıklama yapıldıktan sonra şairin dîvânından seçilen elli gazelin şerhine geçilmiştir. Şerh çalışması için şairin hayal ve imge dünyasını yansıtan gazeller seçtik. Ayrıca şairin dönemine dair ipuçları taşıyan gazeller olmasına özen gösterdik. Şerhlerde gazelleri, öncelikle orijinal harflerle bütün olarak yazdık. Akabinde gazelleri, transkripsiyon alfabesi ile yazılmış olarak verdik. Sonrasında gazelleri, beyit beyit şerh etmeye çalıştık. Beyitte geçen kelimelerle ilgili lugatçe hazırladık ve bu doğrultuda beyiti, günümüz Türkçesi ile nesre aktardık. Daha sonra şerh etmeye başladık. Şerh çalışması esnasında; mazmunlara, kelimelerin tasavvufî anlamlarına, klasik şiirdeki diğer kullanım alanlarına ve beyit içerisinde anlamsal bağ kurdukları öğelere dikkat etmeye çalıştık. Şairin şiir dünyasından hareketle yaptığımız açıklamaların sonunda ise elimizden geldiğince beyitlerdeki edebî sanatları izah etmeye çalıştık.

THE COMMENTARY OF BİRRÎ FROM MANISA'S 50 (FIFTY) GHAZELS The main theme of our work consist the commentary of fifty ghazels that we chose from the Divan of Birri Mehmed Dede from Manisa, who the sheikh of mevlevi and lived in the second half of the 17th century and the first half of the 18th century and were found in the poetry counsil of important poets such as Nâbî and Sayyid Vehbi. Birrî is a poet who developed himself in the field of Sufism. Therefore, we tried to clarify the traces of Sufism in his ghazels in our study. Our aim is to open the gates of the dream world of Birri, a multi-faceted poet, to enter into that the world and to enable that old literary enthusiasts to travel in that atmosphere.Therefore,we resolved to comment the ghazels which is the products of the poet's vast craftsmanship. Our work consists of three main parts. In the first part, the period when Birri lived was evaluated in terms of social, political, cultural and literary aspects. In the second part, information about the life, works and literary personality of the poet is given. As for in the third chapter, after a general and brief explanation was been made on the concept of“commentary”, the fifty gazelles selected from the divan of the poet were passed on to the commentary. For the study of commentary, we chose the ghazels that reflect the poet's dream and image world.We also took care to make sure that there were ghazels bearing clues to the poet's era. In the commentaries, we first wrote ghazels in the original letters as a whole. Subsequently, we gave the ghazels, written in transcription alphabet Then we tried to comment the ghazels. We prepared a dictionary for the words in the couplet and for this purpose, we transferred the couplet with today's Turkish. Then we started to comment. During the commentary study, we have tried to pay attention to the mazmunas (a stereotyped expression that has a certain meaning in it), to the mystical meanings of the words, to the other usage areas of the classical poetry, and to the items in which they have semantically linked to in the couplet. At the end of the explanations we made with the poet's world of poetry, we attempted to explain the literary arts in the couplets as much as we could possible.
