Özet
Bu çalışmada, Seyitgazi Kazası'nın XIX. yüzyıl ortalarındaki demografik yapısını incelemek amacıyla 1833, 1834 ve 1841 yıllarına ait Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Başbakanlık Devlet Arşivleri Genel Müdürlüğü Osmanlı Arşivleri Daire Başkanlığı'nda BOA, NFS.d kataloğunda 1546, 1547, 1548 ve 1549 numaralarda kayıtlı olan dört defter kullanılmıştır. Elimizdeki defterlere göre, Seyitgazi kaza merkezinde beş mahalle ve dokuz köye ait kayıt incelenmiştir. XIX. yüzyıl ortalarında Seyitgazi, Sultanönü Sancağı'na bağlı ve 5000 civarında nüfusu bulunan bir kazadır. Oldukça genç bir nüfusa sahip olan kazanın yaş ortalaması 23,80'dir. Seyitgazi bu dönemde göç verdiği kadar göç alabilen bir yapıdadır. Kaza genelinde ailelerin ¾'ünün çekirdek aile yapısına sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Seyitgazi'nin aynı dönemdeki diğer yerleşimlerden farklı olarak öne çıkan yönlerinden birisi, şahıs isimlerinde genellikle ikili bir kullanım olması ve ilk ismin de sıklıkla Es-Seyyid/Seyit olarak tercih edilmesidir. Bu durum kazaya ismini veren Seyyid Battal Gazi'nin toplum üzerindeki etkisi ile ilişkilendirilebilir. Bunların yanı sıra defterlerde, yerleşim birimlerinde yaşayan erkek nüfusun mesleki yapısı ile ilgili bilgilerin oldukça sınırlı olduğu görülmektedir. Bununla birlikte engelli birey sayısının kaza genelinde düşük bir orana sahip (%3) olduğu belirtilebilir.

In this study, Seyitgazi township XIX. century to examine the demographic structure in mid-1833, 1834 and belongs to the 1841 Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry State Archives General Directorate of Ottoman Archives Department at the BOE, in nfs.d catalog in 1546, 1547 in 1548 and 1549 numbers are used four entries are registered.According to our books, the records of five neighborhoods and nine villages were examined in Seyitgazi Township Center. XIX. Seyitgazi in the middle of the century, Sultanönü is connected to the banner and is an township with a population of around 5000. The average age of the township is quite young population is 23.80. Seyitgazi has a structure that can receive as much migration as it did during this period. Across the township, it was seen that ¾' of the families had nuclear family structure.One of the prominent aspects of Seyitgazi, which is different from other settlements in the same period, is that there is usually a double use in personal names and that the first name is often preferred as Es-Seyyid / Seyit. This may be related to the impact of Seyyid Battal Gazi, who gave his name to the township, on society.In addition, it is seen in the books that the information on the professional structure of the male population living in the settlements is quite limited. However, it should be stated that the number of people with disabilities has a low rate (3%) throughout the township.
