Özet

Bu çalışmada, Osmanlı Dönemi'nde Harput ve Mamuretülaziz kadılıklarında kurulmuş vakıflardan tespiti yapılabilenlerin vakfiyeleri incelenmiştir. İncelenen 105 adet vakfiye dönem olarak 16.-20. Yüzyıllar (1564-1914) arasını kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmada Harput'un ve akabinde merkezin taşındığı Mamuretülaziz'in vakıflar bağlamında sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik durumu da ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış, bu çerçevede şehre ve dolayısıyla halka sunulan hizmetlerin genel durumu-boyutu belirlenmeye gayret edilmiştir. Yukarıda belirlenen hedeflere ulaşmak için öncelikle vakfiyelerin tespit ve tasnifi yapıldıktan sonra içerik analizi yapılarak elde edilen bilgiler tablolar halinde verilmiştir. Bu tablolardan hareketle farklı başlıklar halinde istatistiksel sonuçlar çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Hem içerik tablolarıyla hem de istatistikî verilerle Harput ve Mamuretülaziz şehri ve bağlı merkez yerleşim yerlerinde hayır sahiplerinin inşa ettikleri hayrat eserlerde (müessesât-ı hayriyyede) verilen hizmetlerin neler olduğu belirtilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca bu eserlerin korunması ve hizmetlerin ifası için vakfedilen menkul ve gayrimenkullerin (akarât-ı mevkûfenin) durumu ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışma ile yaklaşık dört yüz yıllık uzun bir tarihî süreçte kurulmuş olan vakıflara ait vakfiyeler incelenerek bir bütün halinde Harput ve Mamuretülaziz vakfiye envanterinin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu sayede çok az insan tarafından ulaşılabilen arşivlerde muhafaza edilen ve bir bakıma şehrin ve toplumun kültürel ve sosyal hafızasını oluşturan tarihî belgeleri bilim çevrelerine sunmak ve okuyucuları ile buluşturmak mümkün olabilecektir.

In this study, the waqfiyes that could be identified from the awqaf founded in the courts of Harput and Mamuretülaziz during the Ottoman period were examined. The examined 105 items of waqfiyye cover the period of 16th - 20th centuries (1564-1914). In this study, the social, cultural and economic situation of Harput and Mamuretülaziz, where the center was moved, has been tried to be revealed in the context of waqf and in this manner, the size of the services provided to the city and thus to the public has been tried to be determined. In order to achieve the targets mentioned above, after the determination and classification of awqaf, the contents of the awqaf were given as tables. Based on these tables, statistical results have been tried to be obtained in different titles. Within both the tables of contents and statistical data, the services offered by the charitable builders in the cities of Harput and Mamuretülaziz and the connected central settlements have been tried to determine. In addition, the status of the securities and real estates that are dedicated to the protection of these works and the performance of the services have been revealed. The aim of this study was to examine the waqfiyes of awqaf founded for a long period of approximately four hundred years and to present the waqfiye inventory of Harput and Mamuretülaziz as a whole. In this way, it will be possible to meet the readers with the historical documents which are kept in archives that can be accessed by very few people and which in a way constitute the cultural and social memory of the city and society.
