Özet
Şehir tarihi araştırmaları her geçen gün biraz daha artmakta, yeni tespitler ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada XIII. yüzyılda Afyonkarahisar şehrinin, mahalleleri ve sosyal yapıları inceleme konusu olmuştur. Çalışma önsöz ve beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü Arşivinde bulunan Karahisar-ı Sahip Kazasına ait Hurufat Defterleri kaynak olarak kullanılmıştır. Hurufat Defterleri baz alınarak yapılan bu çalışmada, XVIII. yüzyıl Afyonkarahisar'ının; vakıfları, vakıf görevlileri, mahalleleri, cami, mescit, medrese, mektep, tekke, zâviye, hamam, çeşme, çarşı ve pazarları tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca tespit edilen bu yapıların görevlileri, nasıl, ne zaman ve ne kadar ücretle atandıkları tespit edilmiştir. Karahisar-ı Sahip Kazasını ihtiva eden 21 adet Hurufat Defteri incelenmiştir.

The researches on the history of the city are increasing day by day and new findings are emerging. In this study; the city of Afyonkarahisar, its neighborhoods and social structures investigated in the 18th century. The study consists of the preface and five chapters. In this study, Hurufat Books which are belonging to the Karahisar-ı Sahip district found in the Archives of the Foundations Directorate were used just resource. In this working, based on the Hurufat Books of the 18th century in Afyonkarahisar's foundations, foundation officers, neighborhoods, mosques, masjids, madrasas, schools, lodges, baths, fountains, bazaars and markets have been determined. Also, it was determined that the officers of these structures, how, when and how much salary did they get from that job. 21 Hurufat Books investigated which include the information about Karahisar-ı Sahip District.
