Özet
TBMM'nin faaliyete geçtiği ilk günlerden itibaren Amasya halkı temsilcilerini Meclise göndererek, Millî Mücadele ve onun kazanılmasından sonra da ülkenin yeniden inşası için gerekli olan kanunların yapılmasına destek vermiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı da TBMM'nin ilk beş döneminde (1920-1939) mecliste görev alan Amasya Milletvekillerinin faaliyetlerinin incelenmesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma giriş ile birlikte iki bölüme ayrılmış, birinci bölümde, 1919-1939 döneminde Amasya'nın durumu çeşitli demografik ve sosyo-ekonomik verilerin yardımı ile incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, I-V. Dönem Amasya Milletvekilleri'nin Meclis faaliyetleri, Meclis celse zabıtları yardımı ile incelenmiştir. Çalışma da yöntem olarak, nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış, ilk bölümdeki konular, ilgili literatür yardımı ile incelenmiş, Milletvekillerinin Meclis çalışmaları ile ilgili veriler ise Meclis celse zabıtlarından derlenmiştir.

Since the first days of the TBMM's activities, the people of Amasya have sent their representatives to the Parliament and have supported the making of the laws necessary for the National Struggle and the reconstruction of the country after its victory. The purpose of this study was determined to examine the activities of the Amasya Deputies who took office in the first five terms of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (1920-1939). The study is divided into two parts with the introduction, in the first part, the situation of Amasya in the period of 1919-1939 is examined with the help of various demographic and socio-economic data. In the second part of the study, I-V. The Parliamentary activities of the Amasya Deputies of the period were examined with the help of the Assembly session minutes. As a method in the study, qualitative research method was used, the issues in the first part were examined with the help of the relevant literature, and the data about the Assembly activities of the Deputies were compiled from the minutes of the Assembly session.
