Başlık: Aydın Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi'nin Fakültelerinde Öğrencilerin Engelsiz Kampüs Farkındalıkları ve Engellilere Karşı Tutumları İle Bu Fakültelerin Engelliler İçin Fiziksel Erişilebilirliğinin Değerlendirilmesi Amaç ve hipotez: Çalışmanın amaçları, Aydın Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi'nin Tıp ve Hemşirelik Fakülteleri'nde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin engelsiz kampüs konusundaki farkındalıklarını, engelli bireylere karşı tutumlarını değerlendirmek, farkındalığı arttırmak ve bu fakültelerin engelli bireylerin fiziksel erişilebilirliklerini sağlama açısından mevcut durumlarını ortaya koymaktır. Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı bir araştırmadır. Mart 2020-Mayıs 2021 tarihleri arasında Aydın Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi Tıp ve Hemşirelik Fakültesi üçüncü sınıf öğrencileri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Evren büyüklüğü Tıp Fakültesi'nde 173, Hemşirelik Fakültesi'nde 288 kişi olmak üzere toplam 461 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada tüm evrene ulaşmak hedeflenmiştir. Öğrencilere demografik veriler ve engellilik ile ilgili soruları, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Engelsiz Kampüs Farkındalık Ölçeği (EKFÖ) ve Özürlülere Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (ÖYTÖ)'ni içeren anket uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin öğrenim gördüğü fakülteler, fiziksel erişilebilirlik açısından temel noktaları ortaya koyan, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan bir form aracılığıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS 24 paket programı kullanılarak Mann-Whitney U testi, Ki- Kare analizi, Spearman korelasyon analizi uygulanmış, tip 1 hata payı 0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmaya 371 gönüllü öğrenci katılmıştır. Bu öğrencilerin % 44,2'si (n=164) Tıp Fakültesi'nde, % 55,8'i (n=207) Hemşirelik Fakültesi'nde öğrenim görmektedir. Ailesinde engellilik bulunan öğrencilerin daha fazla engelli arkadaş edindikleri ve erişilebilirlik kelimesinin anlamını daha yüksek oranda bildikleri saptanmıştır (p=0,013, p=0,004). Öğrencilerin %92,7'si üniversitede 'Engelli Öğrenci Birimi' olup olmadığını bilmemektedir ve Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerinin arasında 'erişilebilirlik' kelimesinin anlamını bilenler daha fazladır (p=0,003). Öğrencilerin üçte ikisi engelli olsalar kampüs yaşamında zorluk çekeceklerini belirtmişlerdir. Öğrencilerin EKFÖ puanları ortalaması 88,5±8,05; ortancası 90 (Min: 36- Maks: 96)'dır. ÖYTÖ puanları ortalaması 182,3±24,9; ortancası 188 (Min: 59- Maks: 215) 'dir. ölçek Hemşirelik ve Tıp Fakültesi öğrencileri arasındaki EKFÖ puanı farkı istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuş (p=0,012), fakülteler arası ÖYTÖ puanı arasında fark saptanmamıştır. Fakülte fiziksel erişilebilirlikleri değerlendirildiğinde Tıp Fakültesi'nde uygun olarak değerlendirilen ifadeler daha fazla bulunmuştur. Tıp Fakültesi girişi evrensel tasarıma uygun olarak düz zemin şeklindedir. Her iki fakülte asansöründe de görsel uyarı sistemi mevcuttur, Hemşirelik Fakültesi asansöründe aynı zamanda sesli uyarı da olduğu görülmüştür. Tıp Fakültesi yaya kaldırımlarında kılavuz çizgiler mevcut olup Hemşirelik Fakültesi kaldırımlarında bulunmamaktadır. Sonuç: Öğrencilerin farkındalıkları iyi düzeyde, tutumları olumlu bulunmuştur. ÖYTÖ alt ölçeklerinde en az olumlu tutum Aile Yaşamı alt ölçeğindedir. Çalışmamızdaki her iki fakültede de engelliler için olumlu tasarım ve düzenlemeler mevcuttur ancak sık sık bunların gözden geçirilmesi, eksiklerin tamamlanması, uygunsuz tasarımların yeniden düzenlenmesi gerekmektedir.

Title: Evaluation of Students' Awareness of The Barrier-Free Campus and Attitudes Towards The Disabled In The Faculties Of Aydin Adnan Menderes University and The Physical Accessibility Of These Faculties For The Disabled People Aim and hypothesis: The aims of the study are to evaluate the awareness of the students studying at the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing of Aydın Adnan Menderes University about the barrier-free campus, their attitudes towards people with disabilities, to increase awareness and to reveal the current situation of these faculties in terms of providing physical accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Methods: The research is a descriptive study. It was held with the third year students of Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine and Nursing between March 2020 and May 2021. The population size consists of 461 people, 173 in the Faculty of Medicine and 288 in the Faculty of Nursing. In the research, it was aimed to reach the whole population. A questionnaire including demographic data and questions about disability, the Barrier-Free Campus Awareness Scale (BCAS) and Attitudes Towards People with Disabilities Inventory (APDI) prepared by the researcher were applied to the students. The faculties where the students studied were evaluated through a form prepared by the researcher, examining the basic points in terms of physical accessibility. Mann-Whitney U test, Chi-square analysis, Spearman correlation analysis were applied using SPSS 24 package program in the evaluation of the data, and the margin of error for type 1 was accepted as 0.05. Results: 371 students participated in the study. 44.2% (n=164) of these students are studying at the Faculty of Medicine and 55.8% (n=207) at the Faculty of Nursing. It was determined that students with a disability in their family had more friends with disabilities and knew the meaning of the word accessibility at a higher rate (p=0,013, p=0,004). 92.7% of the students do not know whether there is a 'Disabled Student Unit' in the university, and among the students of the Faculty of Medicine, those who know the meaning of the word 'accessibility' are more (p=0,003). Two-thirds of the students stated that they would have difficulties in campus life if they were disabled. The mean BCAS scores of the students were 88.5±8.05; the median is 90 (Min: 36- Maks: 96). The mean score of the APDI was 182.3±24.9; the median is 188 (Min: 59- Maks: 215). The difference in BCAS scores between the students of the Faculty of Nursing and Medicine was found to be statistically significant (p=0,012). There was no difference between faculties' scores on APDI. When the physical accessibility of the faculty was evaluated, the expressions that were considered appropriate in the Faculty of Medicine were found more. In accordance with the universal design, there are no stairs or ramps at the entrance of the Faculty of Medicine. There is a visual warning system in both faculty elevators. It has been observed that there is also an audible warning in the Nursing Faculty elevator. There are guide lines on the sidewalks of the Faculty of Medicine and not on the sidewalks of the Faculty of Nursing. Conclusion: Students' awareness was found to be at a good level and their attitudes were positive. The least positive attitude is in the Family Life subscale in the subscales of APDI. There are positive designs and arrangements for the disabled in both faculties in our study, but these need to be reviewed frequently, the deficiencies must be completed, and inappropriate designs must be rearranged.
