Özet
Bu araştırma, bir özel eğitim kurumuna devam eden 6-13 yaş arası özel gereksinimli çocukların ahlaki yargı düzeylerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul ili Üsküdar ilçesinde özel eğitim kurumuna devam eden 6-13 yaş arası çocuklar oluşturmakta olup örneklemi ise, bu evrende yer alan 57 çocuk oluşturmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında veriler 2020 yılı Mart ayında oluşturulan anket formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Özel gereksinimli çocukların ahlaki yargı düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada nicel araştırma desenleri içerisinde yer alan tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda özel gereksinimli çocukların ahlaki yargı durumu puanlarında yaş, cinsiyet, kardeş sayısı, doğum sırası, gereksinim türü, rehabilitasyon merkezine devam etme süresi, anne ve baba öğrenim durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılaşma olup olmadığı araştırıldığından çalışmada nedensel karşılaştırma da yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı ve alt amaçlarına ulaşmak için 6-13 yaş arası çocuklardan“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”,“Ahlaki Yargı Ölçeği”, kullanılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi için öncelikle katılımcıların demografik özelliklerinin betimleyici istatistikleri verilmiştir. Verilerin normal dağılmamasından dolayı veri analizi sürecinde non-parametrik analizler kullanılmıştır. Ahlaki yargı ölçeği puanının cinsiyete ve rehberlik araştırma merkezine devam etme süresi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılaşmanın olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla Mann Whitney U Testi, ahlaki yargı ölçeği puanının yaş, kardeş sayısı, doğum sırası, gereksinim türü, anne ve baba öğrenim durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılaşmanın olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla Kruskal Walli H Testi yapılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmanın sonucunda özel eğitim kurumuna devam eden 6-13 yaş arası özel gereksinimli çocukların ahlaki yargı puanlarının“yüksek”düzeyde olduğu görülmektedir.

This research was conducted to examine the moral judgment levels of children with special needs between the ages of 6 and 13 who attend a special education institution. The population of the study is comprised of children between the ages of 6 and 13 who attend a special education institution in Üsküdar district of İstanbul province, and a total of 57 children were included in this study. Within the scope of this study, the data were created based on the questionnaires created in March 2020. In this study, which was carried out to determine the moral judgment levels of children with special needs, the scanning model, which is among the quantitative research designs was used. In line with the purpose of the study, since it was investigated whether there was a significant difference between the moral judgment scores of children with special needs according to age, gender, number of siblings, birth order, type of need, duration of attending rehabilitation center, and educational status of parents, causal comparison was also used. In order to achieve the purpose and sub-objectives of the study, data were collected from children between the ages of 6 and 13 using the“Personal Information Form”and“Moral Judgment Scale”. For the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics of the demographic characteristics of the participants are given first. Due to the fact that the data is not distributed normally, non-parametric analyzes were used in the data analysis process. Mann Whitney U Test was used to determine whether there is a significant difference in the moral judgment scale score according to gender and duration of attendance at the guidance research center. At the same time, the Kruskal Walli H Test was conducted to determine whether there is a significant difference in moral judgment scale score according to age, number of siblings, birth order, type of needs, and parents' educational status. As a result of the research, it is seen that the moral judgment scores of children with special needs between the ages of 6 and 13 who attend a special education institution are at a“high”level.
