Özet
“Suç Psikolojisi: Suçlu Profili Oluşturmanın Soruşturmalara Sağlayacağı Etkilerin ve Faydaların Araştırılması”başlığını taşıyan tez çalışmasının amacı, Suç psikolojisini detaylı olarak ele almak ve de buna bağlı olan suçlu profili oluşturmanın soruşturma aşamasında kolluk kuvveti tarafından nasıl kullanıldığını, profil oluşturma uzmanlarının gerçek faili yakalamak ve olayları çözmekte ne ölçüde katkı sağladıklarını değerlendirmektir. Tezin ilk bölümünde, Suç psikolojisi kavramsal ve tarihsel olarak incelenmiş, bu alanın öncülerine değinilmiştir. Suç Profili Oluşturmanın temel ilkeleri açıklandıktan sonra, İkince Bölümde detaylı olarak suçlu psikolojisi incelemiş, olay yerindeki onun bıraktığı gölgelerden suçlunun zihinsel haritaları anlamak ve de suç mahallinde bıraktıkları izlerin nasıl soruşturma yapanları faile götürdüğü ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise suçlu profili oluşturmanın yaklaşımları ve bununla beraber bu alanın hangi ülkelerde en çok kullanıldığı ve suçune ölçüde önlemekte olduğunu detaylı olarak ele almaktadır. Çalışmanın son kısmında, suçlu profilinin soruşturmalara kattığı değer ve psikolojinin suç faillerini bulmada ve yakın gelecekte bir olay gerçekleşmeden bunların olmasını önlemede oynadığı rolü açıklanmıştır. Suç profilini çıkarma konusunda yapılan araştırmalarda suçların tamamen ortadan kalkmadığı bilinmekle beraber; bu alandaki yaptığımız çalışmanın yararlı bir araç olarak kullanılabilmesi ve olumlu katkılar sağlaması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amaçlarından biri, çeşitli yetki alanlarında suçlu profillemesinin kullanımına ilişkin karşılaştırmalı bir analiz sağlamaktır.

The aim of the thesis, titled“Crime Psychology: Investigating the Effects and Benefits of Criminal Profile Creation on Investigations”, aims to discuss the psychology of crime in detail, and how the c profiling is used by the law enforcement during the investigation phase, the criminal profiling experts to catch the real perpetrator, the suspect The aim is to evaluate how the data for easier access to the accused are obtained and to what extent they contribute to solving the events. In the first part of the thesis, criminal psychology is examined conceptually and historically, and the pioneers of this field are mentioned. After explaining the basic principles of Crime Profiling, criminal psychology is examined in detail in the Second Chapter, understanding the mental maps of the criminal from the shadows left by him at the crime scene and how the traces left at the crime scene lead the investigators to the perpetrator are discussed. In the third chapter, the approaches to criminal profiling, as well as the countries in which this field is used the most, and the extent to which it prevents crime are discussed in detail. In the last part of the study, the value that the criminal profile adds to the investigations and the role that psychology plays in finding the perpetrators of crime and preventing them from happening in the near future are explained. Although it is known that crimes are not completely eliminated in the researches on crime profiling; It is aimed to use our work in this field as a useful tool and to make positive contributions. One of the aims of this research is to provide a comparative analysis of the use of criminal profiling in various jurisdictions.
