Özet (Çeviri)
The object of the study is the form of the 2nd person imperative in the Russian and Turkish languages. The subject of the study is the semantics, grammar, and usage of Russian and Turkish 2nd person imperatives. The aim of the study is to identify common and differences in semantics, formation and functioning of Russian and Turkish 2nd person imperatives. Fiction text was chosen as the medium of functioning of Russian and Turkish 2nd person imperatives. The research in the comparative aspect of the peculiarities of functioning of the Russian morphological imperative and the Turkish 2nd person imperative was conducted on the material of the stories of A. P. Chekhov (1860– 1904), M. A. Bulgakov (1891–1940), Omer Seifeddin (1884–1920), Sabahattin Ali (1907–1948). The main methods of research are descriptive, comparative, and quantitative. The relevance of the study of the linguistic expression of the category of inducement is determined by its (category) direct orientation to the communicative process. Communicative relevance and frequency of using the imperative as the main linguistic means of expressing the category of inducement realize the need for a comparative aspect of studying the forms of the imperative inclination, including the material of different structural languages. From the point of view of a native Turkish speaker, the Russian morphological imperative is of special linguistic interest because, unlike Russian, there is neither a verbal form and related various shades of the general meaning of inducement, nor the phenomenon of morphological imperative figurative expression in Turkish. The above-mentioned conditions require the choice of the topic and its relevance, theoretical and practical significance of its development. The research has been carried out independently. Structure of the work. The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a bibliography, and two appendices.
