Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıfında kaynaştırma/bütünleştirme öğrencisi bulunan sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerine yönelik, özel eğitim ve kaynaştırma/bütünleştirme uygulamaları hakkında ihtiyaç duyabilecekleri bilgileri edinmelerine yardımcı olacak şekilde bir el kitabının oluşturulmasıdır. Bu çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden uygulama odaklı eylem araştırması modelinde kurgulanmıştır. Çalışma grubu, Gaziantep'te Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında çalışan 6'sı kadın 2'si erkek olmak üzere toplam 8 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni ve bu okullarda idari sorumluluk üstlenen 6 okul yöneticisinden oluşmaktadır. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmenleri için kaynaştırma/bütünleştirme sürecine yönelik oluşturulan el kitabı, eylem araştırmasının ana problem durumunu oluşturmaktadır. El kitabı oluşturulurken ve oluşturulduktan sonra alanyazındaki, ilgili araştırmalardan, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenleri ve uzman görüşlerinden faydalanmıştır. Gerekli düzenlemeler yapıldıktan sonra el kitabına son hali verilmiş ve derslerinde kullanılma biçimi ve derste üstlendiği/karşıladığı işlevleri tespit edilmek için öğretmenlerin dersleri gözlemlenmiş ve uygulama sonunda öğretmenlerden el kitabına yönelik görüşleri alınmıştır. Çalışma için veriler, görüşme ve gözlem yoluyla toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuş ve temalara ayrılarak özetlenip yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonunda geliştirilen ve uygulanan el kitabının sınıflarında kaynaştırma/bütünleştirme öğrencileri olan sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin öğretim sürecini kolaylaştırıcı rolü olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The purpose of this research is to create a handbook for social studies teachers who have inclusion/integration students to help them acquire the information they may need about special education and inclusion/integration practices. This study was designed in the application-oriented action research model, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The working group consists of 8 Social Studies teachers, 6 female and 2 male, working in Gaziantep under the Ministry of National Education in the 2021-2022 academic year, and 6 school administrators who undertake administrative responsibility in these schools. The handbook for the inclusion/integration process for social studies teachers constitutes the main problem of our action research. After the literature review was done, the handbook was started to be created as content. The opinions of the social studies teachers were also taken and the information they needed in their professional lives was added. After the handbook was created, 3 academicians from two different universities were contacted and their opinions were taken about the content of the handbook. In line with the opinions of the academicians, necessary content corrections were made. The handbook was finalized and sent to social studies teachers for review and application in class. For the reflection of the handbook on the social studies course, the lessons of the teachers were observed and at the end of the application, the opinions of the teachers on the handbook were taken. Data for the study were collected through interview and observation. The data collected for the study were divided into themes according to descriptive content analysis and summarized and interpreted. As the main result of the research, it was concluded that the developed and implemented handbook has a facilitating role in the teaching process of social studies teachers who have inclusion/integration students in their classrooms.
