The master thesis project Space Studies University is devoted to the topic of space studies: space debris, planets and space conditions. This university is focusing on space studies as respond to urgent and essential need to explore more information about space, as well as pointing out the debris problem. Space debris are the manmade objects in orbit around Earth, especially in low Earth Orbit, that no longer serve any useful purpose and represent a risk to space crafts, satellites and living creatures in the Earth.. The aim of having a university which is only specialized in one subject´space` is to provide adequate solutions for specific subject as well as establishing much more strong bond between students, researches and scientists at the early stage. The project is located in Catania, Sicily because of its numerous advantages that are examined deeply and explained in the project. The motivation of this project is design a university campus where theoretical and practical studies are in balance and take place in specialized places for its functions while consideration of the importance of location and urban context Il progetto di tesi di laurea Space Studies University è dedicato al tema degli studi spaziali: detriti spaziali, pianeti e condizioni spaziali. Questa università si sta concentrando su studi spaziali in risposta alla necessità urgente ed essenziale di esplorare maggiori informazioni sullo spazio, oltre a sottolineare il problema dei detriti. I detriti spaziali sono gli oggetti creati dall'uomo in orbita attorno alla Terra, in particolare nell'orbita terrestre bassa, che non servono più a nessuno scopo utile e rappresentano un rischio per le imbarcazioni spaziali, i satelliti e le creature viventi sulla Terra. L'obiettivo di avere un'università che è specializzato solo in una materia“spazio”è quello di fornire soluzioni adeguate per la materia specifica e di stabilire un legame molto più forte tra studenti, ricercatori e scienziati nella fase iniziale. Il progetto si trova a Catania, in Sicilia, per i suoi numerosi vantaggi che vengono esaminati in profondità e spiegati nel progetto. La motivazione di questo progetto è la progettazione di un campus universitario in cui studi teorici e pratici sono in equilibrio e si svolgono in luoghi specializzati per le sue funzioni, tenendo conto dell'importanza della posizione e del contesto urbano.
