Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, lise döneminde verilen muhasebe derslerindeki öğretme ve öğrenme sorunları ve bu sorunların kariyer planlamasını etkisinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca ulaşabilmek için Sivas il merkezinde ve ilçelerinde muhasebe meslek öğretmenleri araştırılmış ve iletişim kanalları aracılığıyla tez çalışmasına katılmaları yönünde teklif iletilmiştir. Bu teklife 2021 yılı içerisinde Sivas il merkezinde ve ilçelerinde bulunan toplam 25 muhasebe öğretmeninde 11'i olumlu dönüş sağlamıştır. Çalışmanın yapıldığı ilçeler; Suşehri, Ulaş, Divriği, Zara, Şarkışla'dır. Çalışma kapsamında 11 muhasebe öğretmenine 24 sorudan oluşan bir soru seti yönetilmiştir. Yöneltilen bu sorularda genel olarak lise döneminde, muhasebe eğitiminde yaşanan öğretmen ve öğrenme sorunları ve öğrencilerin kariyer planlamalarına etkisinin ortaya çıkarılmasına ilişkin düşüncelerin tespit edilmesine çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda elde edilen bulgulardan hareketle en önemli öğrenme sorunlarının; öğrencilerin derse karşı ilgisiz olmaları, ticaret meslek liselerine kendi istekleri dışında gelmeleri, öğrencilerin kariyerlerini bu alanda sürdürmek istememeleri ve muhasebe eğitimine karşı ön yargılı olmaları sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra en önemli öğretme sorunlarının ise; öğrencilerin derslere çalışmadıkları, öğretmenler tarafından öğretim teknolojilerinin aktif olarak kullanılmaması ve kariyer planlaması konusunda yeterli bilgiye ve yönlendirmeye sahip olmamaları sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Muhasebe öğretmenleri tarafından bu sorunlarla ilgili ön plana çıkan çözüm önerileri; öğrencilere muhasebe alanında bilgilendirme yapılması, öğrencilerin ilgi düzeylerinin arttırılması, teorik bilginin yanı sıra uygulamalı ders işleyişinin oturtulması ve doğru öğretim tekniklerinin kullanılması önerileri beyan edilmiştir.

In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the teaching and learning problems in the accounting courses given in the high school period and the effects of these problems on career planning. In order to achieve this aim, professional accounting teachers in Sivas city center and its districts were researched and an offer was sent to participate in the thesis study through communication channels. 11 of 25 accounting teachers in Sivas city center and districts responded positively to this proposal in 2021. Districts where the study was conducted; Suşehri, Ulaş, Divrigi, Zara, Sarkisla. Within the scope of the study, a question set consisting of 24 questions was administered to 11 accounting teachers. In these questions, it was tried to determine the opinions about the teacher and learning problems experienced in accounting education and the effects of students on career planning in the high school period. Based on the findings obtained as a result of the study, the most important learning problems are; It has been concluded that students are indifferent to the course, come to trade vocational high schools against their own will, students do not want to pursue their careers in this field and are prejudiced against accounting education. In addition to this, the most important teaching problems are; It has been concluded that students do not study for classes, teachers do not actively use instructional technologies, and they do not have sufficient information and guidance on career planning. Suggestions for solutions to these problems by accounting teachers; Suggestions were made to inform students in the field of accounting, to increase students' interest levels, to establish practical coursework as well as to theoretical knowledge and to use correct teaching techniques.
