Özet
Bu çalışma, Covid-19 Pandemi sürecinde yaşanan değişim ve dönüşümler kapsamında imam-hatiplik mesleğinin incelenmesidir. İmam-hatipler pandemi sürecinde filyasyon, Vefa Sosyal Destek grubu ve 112 Acil Çağrı Merkezi'nde sağlık hizmetlerinde görevlendirilerek süreçten etkilenen önemli bir meslek grubu olmuştur. Bu çerçevede; yaşanan etkilerin incelenmesi, gündelik deneyimler ve dönüşümler araştırmanın temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada yöntem olarak nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji kullanılmış, İstanbul ve Balıkesir illerinde devlet bünyesinde kadrolu olarak görev yapan 17 imam-hatip ile önceden belirlenmiş sorular eşliğinde yüz yüze yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmeler sonucu elde edilen veriler, araştırmacı günlüğü ve gözlemlerle birlikte analiz edilmiştir. İmamların pandemi sürecini mesleki olarak nasıl deneyimledikleri, üstlendikleri yeni roller bu tezin asıl konusu olmakla beraber toplumun bu durumu nasıl karşılayıp imamlara aktardığı, imamların bu açıdan ne tür zorluk ve kolaylıklarla karşılaştıkları da incelenmiş; pandemi sürecindeki değişikliklerden etkilenen ve özellikle filyasyon ve Vefa Sosyal Destek gruplarında görev alan imamların deneyim ve görüşleri ele alınmıştır. İmamların hangi görevlendirmelere dahil edildiği açıklanmış; din görevlilerinin bu çalışmalara neden atandığına dair gerekçeler tartışılmıştır. İmamların Covid-19 pandemi sürecini bir ders olarak ele aldığı değerlendirmeler ve tedbirlerin imamlar tarafından cami ve sahada uygulanma biçimleri, katılımcıların birlikte görev yaptıkları diğer meslek grupları ile kendilerini karşılaştırması, imamların en yoğun çalışan grubun kendileri olduğu kanaati, imamlık mesleğinin toplumsal itibar algısının pandemi çalışmalarındaki yansımaları örneklerle birlikte ele alınmıştır. Bu yüksek lisans tezi, Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde din ve din görevlilerine bakış ve mesleki yükleri ile ilgili sınırlı sayıdaki araştırmaya katkı sunmayı hedefleyen bir araştırmadır. Hem literatürde eksik görülen bir meslek grubu hem de pandemi gibi yeni ve dinamik bir periyot ele alınmıştır. Dolayısıyla pandemi sürecini ve bu süreçteki görevlendirmeleri imamların nasıl deneyimlediği ele alınmıştır.

This study is an examination of the imam-hatip profession within the scope of the changes and transformations experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic process. Imam-hatips have been an important profession group affected by the process by being assigned to filiation, Vefa Social Support group and health services in 112 during the pandemic process. In this context, examining the effects experienced, daily experiences and transformations form the basis of the research. In this study, phenomenology, one of the qualitative research designs, was used as a method, and face-to-face semi-structured interviews were conducted with 17 imam-hatips who work as permanent staff in the state in Istanbul and Balıkesir, accompanied by predetermined questions. The data obtained as a result of the interviews were analyzed together with the researcher diary and observations. How the imams experienced the pandemic process professionally, the new roles they assumed are the main subject of this thesis, how the society responded to this situation and conveyed it to the imams, and what kind of difficulties and conveniences the imams faced in this respect were also examined; the experiences and opinions of the imams who were affected by the changes in the pandemic process and who took part in the filiation and Vefa Social Support groups were discussed. It has been explained in which assignments the imams are included; the reasons why religious officials were appointed to these studies were discussed. Evaluations in which imams take the Covid-19 pandemic process as a lesson and the way the measures are implemented by imams in the mosque and in the field, the participants' comparison of themselves with other profession groups they work with, the opinion that imams are the most busy group, the reflections of social reputation perception of the profession of imam in pandemic studies are discussed together with examples. This master's thesis is a research that aims to contribute to a limited number of studies on the view of religion and religious officials, and professional burdens of imams in times of emergency and crisis. A new and dynamic period, such as a pandemic, as well as a profession group that is seen missing in the literature are discussed. Therefore, the multidimensional effects of the pandemic process and the assignments in this process on imams were discussed.
