Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı sıcak çelik dövme fabrikası özelinde süreç iyileştirme çalışması yapmaktır. Süreç iyileştirme, üretime dair birçok farklı değişkenin aynı anda kontrol edilmesini içermektedir. Bu bağlamda süreç iyileştirme üretilen ürünün kalitesini artırırken diğer yandan da hem iş görenlerin hem de toplamda işletmenin performansını yükseltmektedir. Süreç iyileştirme müşteri talep beklentilerini dikkate almakla birlikte ürünlerin üretildiği üretim araçlarını da dikkate almaktadır. Söz konusu çelik dövme fabrikaları olduğunda ise üretim araçlarının büyük olması ve üretilen malların da özel olarak korunması gerekmektedir. Bu bakımdan süreç iyileştirme sektöre özgü teknikleri ve yöntemleri gerektirmektedir. Sıcak çelik dövme fabrikalarında ise süreç iyileştirme üretim araçlarının arıza ihtimali bağlamında da incelenmiştir. Fabrikanın satış, satın alma ve planlama, kalite yönetim ve son olarak üretim ve bakım departmanları olmak üzere toplamda 4 departmanı etkileyen hata türleri tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen tüm hataların kök nedenleri araştırılmış, departmanlardan sorumlu personelin katılımıyla ilgili hataların etkileri üzerinde durulmuştur. Takiben departmanları ve birimlerini etkileyen hataları irdelemek üzere yöntem olarak Hata Türleri ve Etkileri Analizi(HTEA) kullanılmış ve hataların Risk Öncelik Sayısı(RÖS) değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Fabrikada alınan önlemlerle dört departmanda en öne çıkan iki hata türünde %90'nın üzerinde bir iyileştirme sağlanmıştır.

The purpose of this research is to conduct a process improvement study specific to the hot steel forging factory. Process improvement involves controlling many different variables of production at the same time. In this context, process improvement increases the quality of the product produced, on the other hand, it increases the performance of both the employees and the enterprise in general. While process improvement takes into account customer demand expectations, it also takes into account the means of production in which the products are produced. When it comes to steel forging factories, the means of production must be large and the goods produced must be specially protected. In this regard, process improvement requires industry-specific techniques and methods. In hot steel forging factories, the process improvement was also examined in terms of the possibility of failure of production tools. Error types affecting 4 departments in total, namely sales, purchasing and planning, quality management and finally production and maintenance departments of the factory, have been identified. The root causes of all detected errors were investigated, and the effects of the errors related to the participation of the personnel responsible for the departments were emphasized. Then, FMEA was used as a method to examine the errors affecting the departments and units, and the ROS values of the errors were calculated. With the measures taken at the factory, an improvement of over 90% was achieved in the two most prominent error types in four departments.
