Özet
Covid-19, son yüzyılın en ölümcül salgını olarak ortaya çıkmış ve tüm dünyada yaşamı ciddi bir düzeyde değiştirmiştir. Bu salgın sonucunda uygulanan kısıtlamalar ve turistler üzerinde oluşan sağlık ve güvenlik tehdidi unsuru, seyahat ve turistik faaliyetler olumsuz etkilenmiştir. Bu bağlamda sağlıkla ilgili bir krizin ardından turistik destinasyonlarda bulunan ev sahibi toplumun turist davranışlarına ilişkin algılarının belirlenmesi önemli bir husustur. Bu çalışmada, Çinli turist talebinin fazla olduğu Kapadokya bölgesindeki yerel halkın Covid-19 sonrası Çinli turistlere yönelik algılarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada; nicel yöntemlere başvurulmuş, veri toplama araçlarından yüz yüze anket yöntemi seçilerek 350 adet anket uygulaması yapılmış ve elde edilmiş olan veriler SPSS 22 istatistik paket programına tabi tutularak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda; Kapadokya bölgesindeki yerel halkın genel bağlamda turizmi tamamıyla destekledikleri ve yabancı turistlere olumlu yakalaştıkları anlaşılırken, Çinli turistlera karşı bu yaklaşımın önemli düzeyde düştüğü istatistiksel olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Turizme ve Çinli turiste karşı bakış açıları kararsız olan grubun koranavirüsün yayılmasında Çin hükümetini ve Çinli turistleri en çok sorumlu tutan grup olduğu saptanmıştır. Salgından sonra enfeksiyon kapma algısı arttıkça, temastan tamamen kaçındıkları ve bu durumun misafirperverlik tutumlarında negatif eğilimde bir değişimi meydana getirdiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca Çinli turistlere karşı olumlu algıya sahip ve turistlere yönelik iş yada faaliyeti olan grubun, salgın sonrasındaki misafirperverlik tutumlarında değişim oranlarının, olumsuz algıya sahip iş yada faaliyetleri olmayan gruptan daha az oranda olduğu da tespit edilmiştir.

Covid-19 emerged as the deadliest pandemic of the last century and has seriously changed life worldwide. The restrictions imposed due to this pandemic and the health and safety threat on tourists, travel, and touristic activities were adversely affected. In this context, it is critical to determine the perceptions of the host society in touristic destinations regarding tourist behavior after a health-related crisis. This study it is aimed to determine the perceptions of the local people in the Cappadocia region, where the demand for Chinese tourists is high, towards Chinese tourists after Covid-19. In the study, Quantitative methods were applied, the face-to-face survey method was chosen from the data collection tools, 350 surveys were applied, and the data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS 22 statistical package program. In the results of working, While it is understood that the local people in the Cappadocia region fully support tourism in general and have a positive attitude towards foreign tourists, it has been statistically revealed that this approach towards Chinese tourists has decreased significantly. It has been determined that the group whose perspectives towards tourism and Chinese tourists are unstable is the group that holds the Chinese government and Chinese tourists most responsible for the spread of the coronavirus. It was revealed that as the perception of infection increased after the pandemic, they avoided contact completely, and this caused a negative trend in their hospitality attitudes. In addition, it has been determined that the group that has a positive perception towards Chinese tourists and has business or activities for tourists, the rate of change in their hospitality attitudes after the pandemic less than the group that has a negative perception of business or activities.
