Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğrencilerin hem devlet hem de özel ortaöğretim okullarında beden eğitimi derslerine yönelik tutum düzeylerini değerlendirmektir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılında Batman ilindeki devlet ve özel okullarda öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılan toplam 800 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerin demografik özelliklerine ilişkin veri toplamak amacıyla“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin beden eğitimi dersine yönelik tutum düzeylerini belirlemeye yönelik verilerin toplanması amacıyla“Beden Eğitimi Dersi Tutum Ölçeği”kullanılmıştır. Veriler alındıktan sonra istatistiksel analizleri kolaylaştırmak amacıyla SPSS 22.0 yazılım paketine girildi. Verileri analiz etmek için frekans analizi, yüzde analizi, aritmetik ortalama, bağımsız değişken testi, varyans analizi (ANOVA) ve post hoc testi gibi çeşitli istatistiksel teknikler kullanılmıştır. Analiz, öğrencilerin beden eğitimi dersine yönelik tutum düzeylerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar olduğunu ortaya çıkardı. Bu farklılıkların eğitim kurumu kategorisi, akademik performans, hane geliri, kardeş sayısı ve sporda uzmanlaşma eğilimi gibi faktörlere bağlı olduğu bulunmuştur (p<.05). Cinsiyet, yaş ve sınıf değişkenleri dikkate alındığında beden eğitimi dersine yönelik tutum düzeylerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık görülmedi (p > .05). Çocukların devam ettiği eğitim kurumu, okul yönetiminin spor ve beden eğitimine verdiği önem, öğrencinin ailesinin sosyoekonomik durumu, öğrencinin sosyal çevresi gibi birçok değişken, öğrencilerin okula yönelik tutumlarını etkilemektedir. Özel eğitim kurumlarına kayıtlı ve daha yüksek yaşam standardına sahip, varlıklı ailelerden gelen çocuklar, beden eğitimi programlarına karşı daha olumlu bir eğilim sergilemeye daha yatkın oldukları söylenebilir.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the levels of students' attitudes towards the availability of physical education classes in both public and private secondary schools. In the academic year 2023-2024, the research population consists of students who are enrolled in public or private schools in the province of Batman. The sample for the study consisted of a total of eight hundred students who willingly participated in the investigation. The“Personal Information Form”was employed to gather data on the demographic characteristics of the students. The“Physical Education Lesson Attitude Scale”was employed to gather data aimed at determining the levels of attitude that students possess towards the physical education course. Upon receiving the data, they were subsequently entered into the SPSS 22.0 software package in order to facilitate statistical analysis. It is utilized a diverse range of statistical techniques to analyze the data, such as frequency analysis, percentage analysis, arithmetic mean, independent variable t test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and post hoc testing. The analysis revealed statistically significant differences in the students' attitude levels towards physical education lesson. These disparities were discovered to be contingent upon the factors of educational institution category, academic performance, household income, number of siblings, and inclination towards a sports specialization (p<.05). No statistically significant difference was observed in the levels of attitude towards physical education class when considering the variables of gender, age, and grade (p > .05). Several variables, such as the educational institution attended by children, the degree of importance assigned to sports and physical education by the school administration, the socioeconomic status of the student's family, and the social circle of the student, collectively influence the students' attitudes towards physical education classes. It is said that from affluent backgrounds, who are enrolled in private educational institutions and have a higher standard of living, are more inclined to exhibit a favorable disposition towards physical education programs.
