Özet
Ill ÖZET Geniş bir turizm potansiyeline sahip olan Türkiye' nin mevcut turizm yapısını incelemek. Dünya ve Avrupa turizmi içerisindeki yerini belirlemek ve önümüzdeki yıllarda değişen koşullardan Türk turizminin ne şekilde etkileneceğini saptayarak, Türk turizminin sorunlarına çözüm önerileri üretebilmek çalışmanın ana konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Kaynak tarama yöntemiyle yapılan araştırmanın sonucunda elde edilen bilgiler, Türk turizminin mevcut yapışım ve potansiyelini ortaya koymaktadır. Bununla birlikte araştırma, Türk turizminin sorunlarının çözümüne ilişkin önerileri de içermektedir. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde turizme genel bakış başlığı altında; öncelikle turizmin tarihi gelişimi, tanımı, özellikleri ve çeşitlerine yer verilmiştir. Turizmin ekonomik yönünün belirtilmesi açısından da, turizm arz ve talebinin tanımı ve özellikleri, uluslararası turizm talebini belirleyen faktörler turizmin gelir etkisi, istihdam etkisi ve turizmin ödemeler dengesine etkisi incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde Türk turizminin mevcut yapısı başlığı altında; Türk turizminin Dünya ve Avrupa turizmi içindeki yeri, Türkiye' ye gelen turistlerin ve çıkan vatandaşların yıllara ve aylara göre sayılan, turizm gelir ve giderlerinin yıllara ve aylara göre dağılımı ve gelen yabancıların aylara ve taşıt araçlarına göre dağılımı, turizm işletme belgeli tesislerde konaklayan kişi, geceleme ve ortalama kalış süresi, doluluk oranlarının aylara göre dağılımı incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise, Dünya' daki ve Avrupa' daki yapısal değişiklikler ve geleceğe yönelik eğilimleri, Türk turizminin gelecek yüzyıldaki beklentileri ve geliştirilmesindeki hedefler yer almaktadır. Çalışma Türk turizminin sorunlarına ilişkin çözüm önerileri ve sonuç bölümü ile bitirilmiştir.

IV ABSTRACT The main theme of our research is to examine the existing structure of tourism of Turkey which has a huge touristic potential, to determineits place in Europen and World tourism and to find out solutions to the problems of turkish tourism by examining how the Turkish tourism will be influenced in the following years from the changing condtions The data obtuined by our research show the existing structure and potantial of the Turkish tourism. How ever our study contians the proposition of solutions to the problems of Turkish tourism. Our study is composed of three parts. In the first part, under the title“General view of toursim”are examined historical devolopment of tourism, it's definition, it's characteristics and it's varieties in the point of view of economical aspects of tourism, we examined the definition of demand and supply in tourism and it's characteristics, the factors which define the international demand of tourism, the income effect of tourism, the employment effect and effect of tourism on the balance of payment. The folowing items are examined in the second part. Under the title of the exiting structure of the Turkish tourism the place of the Turkish tourism in Europe and in the world, the number of tourists which comes to Turkey and the number of the citizens which go abroad, the distribution of tourism income and payments monthly and yearly, the distribution of the tourists according to their mem of transport number of staying in the touristic establishments which have certificate,, duration of staying and average of staying and finally thedistribution of average hotel capacity use. In the third part we examined the structural changes in Europe and World and the tendunces for future, the expectutions of Turkish tourism in the next century and the targets to grow Turkish tourism. The study ends with solutions for the problems of Turkish tourism and with conclusion.
