Özet
Bu çalışmamızın amacı Arap Dilinin 15. yy. da Osmanlı Devletindeki ve Arap dilinin konuşulduğu coğrafyalardaki gelişme durumunu analiz etmektir. Çalışmamızda bu dönemdeki dil gelişimi hakkında çeşitli iddialara yer verilerek, araştırmaların sonucunda oluşan bulgular paylaşılacaktır. Bu asırdaki dil faaliyetlerine bakıldığında elde edilen bulgulara göre, dönemin önemli iki devletinin Osmanlı ve Memlûk olduğu tespit edilmiştir. İki devletin Arap dilinin konuşulduğu coğrafyada etkin olduğu düşünüldüğünde, Arap asıllı olmamaları sebebebiyle çeşitli tenkitlere maruz kaldıkları görülmüştür. Çalışmamızda bu tenkitlere en doğru cevabı vermek hedeflenmiştir. Konumuz, aynı dönemde aynı dili kullanan iki devletin nasıl bir süreç işlettiklerini görmek açısından ve bu dönemde yazılan eserlere bakması yönüyle önem arz etmektedir. Ayrıca devletin siyasi olarak durumunun dile etkisi de incelenmiştir. Tezimizde özellikle 15. yy. da Osmanlı Devleti'nde yaşayıp Arap dilinde eser yazan âlimler ile Memlûk Devleti'nde yaşayıp Arap dilinde eser yazan âlimlerin durumu incelenmiştir. Araştırmamızda elde ettiğimiz bulgular neticesinde, bu dönemin kritiği yapılmıştır. Çalışmamız bir asrı anlama adına ışık tutmuş olsa da daha kapsamlı çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır.

The aim of this study is to analyze the development of the Arabic language in the Ottoman Empire and the geographies where the Arabic language was spoken in the 15th century. In our study, various claims about language development in this period will be included and the findings of the research will be shared. According to the findings obtained when looking at the language activities in this century, it has been determined that the two important states of the period were the Ottoman Empire and the Mamluks. Considering that the two states are active in the geography where the Arabic language is spoken, it has been seen that they have been subjected to various criticisms due to their lack of Arab origin. In our study, it is aimed to give the most accurate answer to these criticisms. Our subject is important in terms of seeing what kind of process the two states using the same language in the same period operated and looking at the works written in this period. In addition, the effect of the political situation of the state on language was also examined. In our thesis, especially the situation of the scholars who lived in the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century and wrote works in the Arabic language and the scholars who lived in the Mamluk State and wrote works in the Arabic language were examined. As a result of the findings we obtained in our research, this period was criticized. Although our study has shed light on understanding a century, more comprehensive studies are needed.
