Özet
İnsan ihtiyaçlarının artması ile ürün çeşitliliği çoğalmış ve bu durum üretiminin artmasına neden olmuştur. Böylece ülkeler için gelişmişliğin ve ekonomik büyümenin lokomotifi imalat sektörü mal ve hizmet üretmeye devam etmiştir. Tüm bunlar istihdamın artmasına ve her ne kadar teknolojik olanaklar artsa da emeğin daha fazla kullanılmasına neden olmuştur. Dünyanın en büyük sorunlarından olan iş kazaları da bu üretim yarışının getirmiş olduğu risklerle gitgide artmıştır. İş kazaları karşısında katlanılan maliyetler, üretimin paydaşlarını iş sağlığı ve güvenliği konularında daha aktif tedbirler almaya yöneltmektedir. Çalışanlar açısından kendi ruh ve beden sağlıklarını koruma isteği, işverenler için katlanılmak zorunda kalınan maliyetler ve itibar kaybına uğramama arzusu; devlet için sosyal devlet olmanın getirdiği koruma ve menfaat sağlama önemli bir hal almıştır. Bu çalışmada bahsedilen konulardan yola çıkarak ülke ekonomisinde önemli bir yer edinmeye çalışan Amasya İlinin imalat sektörü hakkında, sektör paydaşlarına ve karar vericilere bir kaynak sağlamak, oluşturacak politikalara rehber olmak amacıyla 2023 yılında meydana gelen yaralanmalı iş kazaları nedenleri ile ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın kaynağını oluşturan bilgiler SGK'ya işverenler tarafından yapılan bildirimler ile SGK bünyesinde kurulu olan İş Kazası Tespit Komisyonlarının ve Sosyal Güvenlik Denetmenlerinin yapmış olduğu incelemeler neticesinde iş kazası olduğuna karar verdikleri olaylardan elde edilmiştir.

As human needs have increased, product diversity has grown, leading to an increase in production. Thus, the manufacturing sector, the driving force behind development and economic growth for countries, has continued to produce goods and services. All of this has led to increased employment and greater use of labor, despite advances in technology. Workplace accidents, one of the world's biggest problems, have also increased due to the risks associated with this race for production. The costs incurred due to workplace accidents are prompting production stakeholders to take more active measures in occupational health and safety. For employees, the desire to protect their mental and physical health; for employers, the costs they are forced to bear and the desire to avoid reputational damage; and for the state, the protection and benefits provided by the welfare state have become important. Based on the topics discussed in this study, the causes of work accidents resulting in injuries in 2023 were examined with the aim of providing a resource for stakeholders and decision-makers in the manufacturing sector of Amasya Province, which is striving to gain an important place in the country's economy, and to guide the creation of guidelines and policies. Based on the topics discussed in this study, the manufacturing sector of Amasya Province, which is striving to gain an important place in the country's economy, has been examined in terms of the causes of work-related accidents resulting in injuries that occurred in 2023, with the aim of providing a resource for sector stakeholders and decision-makers and serving as a guide for the policies to be developed. The information forming the basis of the study was obtained from reports made to the Social Security Institution (SSI) by employers and from incidents determined to be work accidents as a result of investigations conducted by the Work Accident Investigation Commissions and Social Security Inspectors within the SSI.
