Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Talim Terbiye Kurulu' nun kuruluşundan günümüze müzik eğitiminde kullanılan yardımcı ders kitaplarına ilişkin içerik analizinin yapılmasıdır. Genel müzik eğitiminde kullanılması temel alınan ve ilköğretim kademesine yönelik şarkı dağarcığı içeren 30 adet yardımcı ders kitabı araştırmanın sınırlılığı içerisinde yer almaktadır. Tarama modelli bu araştırmada veriler, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan“doküman incelemesi”tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Buna göre, amaçlı örneklem tekniğiyle belirlenen 30 adet yardımcı ders kitabı, 3 ana boyut; metinsel, müziksel ve müzik eğitim yaklaşımları çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Metinsel boyut kapsamında 7 alt boyut, müziksel boyut kapsamında 7 alt boyut ve müzik eğitim yaklaşımları kapsamında ise 4 adet alt boyut belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen bu ana ve alt boyutlar çerçevesinde ele alınan yardımcı ders kitapları içerisindeki şarkılar, içerik analizine tabi tutulmuş, tablolaştırılarak yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmada metinsel boyuttaki sonuçlara göre; yardımcı ders kitaplarında yer alan şarkılarda en çok arkadaşlık değeri ve sosyal-iletişim konusunun ele alındığı, çoğunlukla ilkokul düzeyine yönelik olduğu ve prozodi kurallarının gözetildiği tespit edilmiştir. Şarkıların dizgi ve kapak tasarımı bakımından uygun bulunduğu ve çoğunlukla dikkat çekici/sembol ve şekillerin kullanıldığı sonucuna varılmaktadır. Bestecilikte en çok Salih Aydoğan' ın, güfte yazarlığında ise Hamdi Tunçer' in eserlerine yer verildiği belirlenmiştir. Müziksel boyuttaki sonuçlara göre; en çok Türk okul şarkıları türünde do majör tonalitesinde bestelenmiş eserlere yer verildiği, bu eserlerin çoğunlukla teksesli ve eşliksiz olduğu sonucuna varılmaktadır. Eserlerde en çok artikülasyon işaretlerinden legotonun kullanıldığı, çoğunlukla 2/4'lük ölçü birimlerinin kullanılarak 6-10 yaş (C1-F2) ses aralığında olduğu saptanmıştır. Müzik eğitim yaklaşımları boyutunda sonuçlara göre; yardımcı ders kitaplarında en çok Orff yaklaşımına yönelik eserlerin yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to conduct a content analysis of supplementary textbooks used in music education from the establishment of the Board of Education and Discipline to the present day. The scope of the research is limited to 30 supplementary textbooks containing song repertoire intended for the primary education level, which form the basis of general music education. In this study, which adopts a survey model, data were collected through“document analysis”, a qualitative research method. Accordingly, 30 supplementary textbooks selected via purposeful sampling were examined within the framework of three primary dimensions: textual, musical, and music education approaches. Under these primary dimensions, 7 sub-dimensions were identified for the textual aspect, 7 for the musical aspect, and 4 for music education approaches. The songs within the textbooks were subjected to content analysis based on these established dimensions and sub-dimensions, with the resulting data categorized into tables and interpreted. According to the results regarding the textual dimension, it was determined that the songs in the supplementary textbooks most frequently addressed the value of“friendship”and the theme of“social-communication.”The content was found to be predominantly oriented toward the primary school level, with a consistent adherence to prosodic rules. Furthermore, the textbooks were deemed appropriate in terms of typesetting and cover design, frequently utilizing engaging symbols and shapes. In terms of authorship, the works of Salih Aydoğan were most prevalent in composition, while Hamdi Tunçer's works were most frequent in lyrics.Regarding the musical dimension, the findings indicate a predominance of Turkish school songs composed in the key of C Major, which were mostly monophonic and unaccompanied. Among articulation marks, legato was the most frequently utilized. It was further established that the pieces predominantly utilized 2/4 time signatures and fell within the 6–10 age vocal range (C1- F2). Finally, within the dimension of music education approaches, it was determined that works aligned with the Orff approach were the most frequently featured in the supplementary textbooks.
