Özet
Bu araştırma, Transüretral Prostat Rezeksiyonu uygulanan hastalarda Su Jok terapinin postoperatif ağrı ve anksiyete üzerine etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla randomize kontrollü bir çalışma olarak gerçekleştirildi. Araştırma 10.04.2025 – 22.09.2025 tarihleri arasında Gazi Üniversitesi Sağlık Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi Üroloji Kliniği'nde yürütüldü. İlk kez Transüretral Prostat Rezeksiyonu ameliyatı planlanan hastalar araştırma evrenini oluşturdu. Örneklem büyüklüğü G*Power ile belirlenerek her grupta 26 olmak üzere toplam 52 hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Hastalar randomize olarak müdahale (Su Jok) ve kontrol gruplarına ayrıldı. Ağrı düzeyi postoperatif 1., 3., 5. ve 7. saatlerde; anksiyete düzeyi preoperatif ve postoperatif 7. saatte ölçüldü. Hasta memnuniyeti yalnızca müdahale grubunda değerlendirildi. Veriler Durumluk Kaygı Envanteri, Sayısal Ağrı Derecelendirme Ölçeği ve Görsel Analog Hasta Tatmin Skalası ile toplandı. Analizler IBM SPSS 27 ile yapıldı ve anlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 olarak kabul edildi. Postoperatif 3., 5. ve 7. saatlerde müdahale grubunun ağrı düzeyleri, kontrol grubundan daha düşük saptandı (p<0.05). Postoperatif 7. saatte anksiyete puanlarının müdahale grubunda kontrol grubuna kıyasla daha düşük olduğu belirlendi (p<0.001). Grup içi analizlerde Su Jok uygulanan hastalarda ağrının tüm zaman noktalarında anlamlı biçimde azaldığı görüldü. Müdahale grubunun memnuniyet puanı yüksek bulundu (7.88±0.78). Su Jok Terapi, TUR-P sonrası dönemde ağrı ve anksiyeteyi azaltan, hasta memnuniyetini artıran etkili ve güvenli bir tamamlayıcı yöntemdir. Noninvaziv ve kolay uygulanabilir olması, cerrahi hemşireliği uygulamalarında multimodal postoperatif bakımın bir bileşeni olarak kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir.

This study was conducted as a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the effect of Su Jok therapy on postoperative pain and anxiety in patients undergoing Transurethral Resection of the Prostate. The study was carried out between 10 April 2025 and 22 September 2025 in the Urology Clinic of Gazi University Health Research and Application Center. Patients scheduled to undergo Transurethral Resection of the Prostate for the first time constituted the study population. The sample size was determined using G*Power, and a total of 52 patients, with 26 patients in each group, were included in the study. Patients were randomly assigned to the intervention (Su Jok) group and the control group. Pain levels were measured at the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th postoperative hours, while anxiety levels were measured preoperatively and at the 7th postoperative hour. Patient satisfaction was evaluated only in the intervention group. Data were collected using the State Anxiety Inventory, the Numerical Pain Rating Scale, and the Visual Analog Patient Satisfaction Scale. Analyses were performed using IBM SPSS version 27 and the level of statistical significance was accepted as p<0.05. Pain levels in the intervention group were found to be lower than those in the control group at the 3rd, 5th, and 7th postoperative hours (p<0.05). At the 7th postoperative hour, anxiety scores were found to be lower in the intervention group compared with the control group (p<0.001). Within-group analyses showed that pain decreased significantly at all time points in patients who received Su Jok therapy. The satisfaction score of the intervention group was found to be high (7.88±0.78). Su Jok therapy is an effective and safe complementary method that reduces pain and anxiety and increases patient satisfaction in the period following TUR-P. Its noninvasive and easy-to-apply nature indicates that it can be used as a component of multimodal postoperative care in surgical nursing practice.
