Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, diferansiyel geometrinin önemli konularından biri olan eğriler teorisi kapsamında alternatif hareketli çatının W vektörünün küresel gösterge eğrileri incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın temel amacı, Frenet çatısı ile alternatif hareketli çatı arasındaki ilişkileri ortaya koymak ve bu yapılar arasındaki dönüşümleri analiz etmektir. Tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde eğriler teorisinin uygulama alanlarına değinilmiş ve konuya genel bir giriş yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde üç boyutlu Öklid uzayında gerekli temel tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde alternatif hareketli çatı elemanlarının küresel gösterge eğrileri incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, tezin özgün kısmını oluşturan alternatif hareketli çatının W vektörüne ait küresel gösterge eğrileri ve bu eğrilerin geometrik özellikleri detaylı olarak ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca bu eğriler ile Frenet çatısı arasındaki geçiş ilişkileri ortaya konulmuştur. Son bölümde ise elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirilmiş ve literatürdeki çalışmalarla karşılaştırılarak öneriler sunulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular, alternatif hareketli çatı ile Frenet çatısı arasındaki ilişkilerin daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamış ve küresel gösterge eğrileri üzerinden eğrilerin geometrik özelliklerinin analizine yeni bir bakış açısı kazandırmıştır.

In this thesis, within the scope of the theory of curves, which is an important topic in differential geometry, the spherical indicatrix curves of the W vector of the alternative moving frame are investigated. The main objective of this study is to reveal the relationships between the Frenet frame and the alternative moving frame and to analyze the transformations between these structures. The thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the application areas of the theory of curves are discussed and a general introduction to the subject is provided. In the second chapter, the fundamental definitions and theorems in three-dimensional Euclidean space are presented. In the third chapter, the spherical indicatrix curves of the elements of the alternative moving frame are examined. In the fourth chapter, which constitutes the original contribution of the thesis, the spherical indicatrix curves of the W vector of the alternative moving frame and their geometric properties are analyzed in detail. Furthermore, the transition relations between these curves and the Frenet frame are established. In the final chapter, the obtained results are evaluated and compared with existing studies in the literature, and suggestions for future research are provided. The results obtained contribute to a better understanding of the relationships between the Frenet frame and the alternative moving frame and provide a new perspective on the analysis of the geometric properties of curves through spherical indicatrix curves.
