By using the information systems, companies can get right information at the right time and in the desired format. » Nowadays, with information systems, the companies are also using strategic management which is one of management forms providing rival superiority. With this study, I have given information on information concepts, information management systems and strategic management. For understanding the importance of information clearly, information community has been touched. The kinds of information systems have been described and companies benefit from them has been accented. The foundation stones of strategic management process; strategy, policy and goal concepts have been touched, knowledge about strategic management process has been given. The benefit from information systems in the strategic management process has been researched. VII
