Özet
ÖZET Bu tezde, Türk siyasal yaşamında bir dönüm noktası olan II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi içinde, bu dönemin ve geçmişten gelen uluslar arası dinamiklerin de etkisiyle ortaya çıkan Adana Olayları konu edinilmiştir. Türklerle Ermeniler arasında, genellikle olumsuzluklarla tasvir edilen, yaşanan uzun ve mücadelelerle dolu bir tarihin parçası olarak Adana Olayları, tümevarım ilkesi çerçevesinde, Ermeni Sorunu denilen karmaşık olguyu anlamlandırabilmenin bir yolu olabilir. Adana' da yaşanan tragedya, ardından yaşananlar, siyasi ve sosyal gelişmeler, yargılama ve soruşturma aşamaları, yardımlar ve tepkiler bu çalışmanın özgün boyutunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın bundan sonra, genelde, Ermeni Sorunu konusunda, özelde ise Adana Olayları ile ilgili çalışma ve araştırma yapacaklara, katkı sağlayacağım umut ediyoruz.

n ABSTRACT This thesis is about Adana events occurred during the period of second constitutional monarchy (II. Meşrutiyet), a turning point in the history of Turkish political life. Both the characteristics of this period and the international dynamics of the past had an impact on the occurrence of these events. Being a part of a long lasting history of struggles between the Turks and the Armenians that were usually described with negativity, Adana Events could provide a way to give meaning to a much more complicated case called Armenian Question, within the framework of the method of induction. The tragedy in Adana, aftermath of the events, political and social developments, the investigation and trial stages, aids and reactions all together make up the distinctive dimensions of this study. Therefore we hope that this study will make a contribution both to the Armenian Question in general and specifically to those who will conduct research on Adana Events.
